Learning how to speak clearly and effectively is a valuable life skill for all students. English Language Learners need ample time and practice to improve their proficiency in speaking. New Technology: New Opportunities! Our district recently acquired iPads and protective cases for every student to use in the classroom and at home with distance learning. With this new technology comes great opportunities, there are many programs that allow students to read, speak, and record themselves. By using technology in this way I can allow students to practice speaking in a fun and creative way. To achieve this we will need headphones with microphones, so students can speak and listen without disturbing each other. I am requesting 45 so that each of my 43 students could have their own headphones to use at school and home and I have 2 for new students when they join our classroom. When you choose to donate to this project you are helping give these students a voice! Thank you!
