Thank you so much for your thoughtful and generous donation of dry erase markers, cardstock paper, visual aids, erasers, and short vowel reading cards! These resources will make a huge difference in our daily learning, allowing students to actively engage in lessons, practice foundational reading skills, and receive visual support to reinforce key concepts. Your kindness helps us create an interactive and supportive learning environment, and we're incredibly grateful for the positive impact you're making on our classroom. Thank you for helping our students thrive!”

What an amazing surprise to see this project was completed.

Once I told the students, they were so excited. I think the snacks is what made them the happiest. Words will not be able to express the joy from all of us. Can't wait to have these objects within our learning.”

  • Visual and Flexible Seating Needs

    Funded Sep 25, 2019

we have received our new seats and the kids are loving them. They have become an important part of our learning routine. Children are now super excited to come to the meeting area and to learn. These seats have now given children the chance to chose where they want to sit when working in small groups.

The excitement in the children's eye is unreal. They now have a soft spot waiting for them. Group work has become more motivating as they now take their seats and find the best location for them to learn.

Thank you for supporting us !”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rossello

  • Math Tools and More!

    Funded Aug 9, 2019

WoW! The look of excitement this morning was unreal as we sat and opened our book of new math tools and classroom supplies. The children were so thankful that someone out there sat and thought about the impact these supplies will have on them.

Fractions is always a very difficult topic to teach. Now the children can make fractions come to life with these hand on tools. Comparing fractions is now so much easier. We are excited to introduce our talk box to our non verbal students and listen in to them discover new ways to express their thinking.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rossello

    Funded Apr 17, 2019

WOW!! Thank you so much for your outstanding donations!!! Paper is such a valuable resource for us in our class. My students needs lots of different activities and charts to help them learn. This paper will come in handy. The students were so excited to see their new markers when they walked into the classroom. In addition, they were super excited to use our new dry erase paddle boards during our math meetings. We can't wait to build our new chart and put that to use for our anchor charts. Thank you for thinking of us.”

  • Math Manipulatives and Time for Kids

    Funded Dec 31, 2018

We can't thank you enough for all tools. Math has become so much easier for the students with the use of these tools. Children now love to multiply using counters to make different groups, add / subtract moving the counters to show more or less. Our reading trackers are helping our readers keep their eyes in the right spot without losing our space, making for stronger readers and children who want to read.

Our classroom looks great right now, because of these simple tools helping the students. When you watch them measure objects using cubes and smiling, it makes the lesson now a happy lesson with students feeling like they can instead of i can't.

All students benefit from this project. The students are able to take these supplies out when they need to use them. Who powering to see the students doing this.

Thank you again for helping us feel like powerful and successful students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rossello

  • Literacy for 2nd Graders

    Funded Dec 28, 2018

My class opened up our special delivery box and couldn't believe our eyes. We were so excite. That you helped us to meet our goal. These reading centers have been an essential tool in our center work and independent word study. Students continue to ask to go back to the literacy center and play the games again.

The students were thrilled to see new and exciting learning tools to help them read. I continue to over heard them talk about how much they love their new sight word tools.

My next step is to encourage the students to now take this new knowledge and excitement and apply these words into our writing, these words have been placed into a sight word dictionary for them to refer too and also to help them retain the words.

Thank you again for helping us to become better and stronger readers!!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rossello

The items I picked out are to help my students become engaged readers. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word. The easel will be used to hold morning meetings and to have a central place for the students to come sit around. Here we will work on our word study materials by placing our morning message on the board and turning that into a interactive writing station. The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in ELA. The centers games are to motivate them into playing games with new words. Students love working in small groups to help each other advance their reading. The students love to play games and are always engaged. By supplying them with new materials and games, the students will be more engaged. The sight word journals will also help the students feel like stronger writers and motivate them to write more using their sight words. The students will work together to place their new sight words into sentences and use these materials to have a chance to show off their skills.
