• Art Supplies for My 3rd Graders

  I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous contribution to our classroom. Your donation has made it possible for us to have all of the art supplies my students need to create new, fun, and creative standards-based projects. The finished products they have already come up with are so bright and beautiful and add so much to our learning environment.

• PE Equipment Please!

  Funded Nov 29, 2021

  This PE equipment was such a wonderful addition to our classroom! The kids LOVED the scarves and would beg for me to take them out. We use the hula hoops to play various games, and practice strengthening our core. The mats with different exercises on them were also a game changer for indoor PE. I was able to place them around the room and the kids could go from mat to mat in sort of "stations" that allowed them to warm up and practice various locomotor skills all within the walls of our classroom. Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful donation to this project. The kids and I love the materials so much!”

• A Full Classroom Store

  Funded May 3, 2022

  The students were head over heels in love with the new classroom store materials that you donated to our room. They immediately gravitated towards them when we opened up our store each week. The kids thought each of the toys were unique and fun, causing them to want to earn and save up their classroom economy money each week. Your donation made our store a much more fun and exciting place. The kids were so excited! It truly was great to see how eager they were to get into the store each week thanks to your generosity.”

• Store Our Science Materials

  Funded Jan 7, 2022

  Prior to getting this cabinet in our classroom, science was quite the endeavor. Our materials were scattered all over the classroom, with no central place to house it. Adding this science cabinet to our room has been a game changer for science instruction. Now that we know where the materials are at a quick glance, it is so much easier to conduct a science lesson. The kids can even grab the materials themselves, making them truly able to guide their own learning. Thank you so very much for this awesome donation!”

• James and the Giant Peach Novel Study

  Funded Jan 8, 2022

  The class set of James and the Giant Peach was such a wonderful addition to our classroom. The students not only enjoyed every chapter, but felt such a connection to the narrative elements. We were able to learn so much about how to craft a fun story through the characters, setting, and plot of the book. The students then wrote essays dissecting the characters and created trading cards with the character traits. They even made fun dodecahedrons to respond to the literature. Thank you so much for caring about our education!”

• We Need an Easel

  Funded Nov 10, 2021

  What a gift you have given us! This easel has made small group instruction so much easier each day in our room. The kids are able to gather around and learn concepts in a smaller environment without sacrificing any of the benefits of learning with the white board or overhead document camera. The kids also love using the easel on their own! It is such an incentive for them during independent work time as well. The easel has been a wonderful addition to our classroom and the students and I are very grateful.”

• Help Us Become Financially Literate

  What an amazing impact your donations have had on our classroom this year. One of the cornerstones of the classroom management plan in our classroom is a Classroom Economy, where the students earn money for doing their "job" as a student. The materials that we have be given through this grant has really helped to bring the ideas of financial responsibility and awareness to the forefront of the minds of the students.

  Thanks to you, my students have wallets and ledgers to record their earning and spendings. They are so much more aware of what money they have and how they can use it in the wisest way in our classroom. The materials you donated really have brought the economy we use to another level, and the students are all the better for it Thank you!”

  You have given my students such a gift this year. With the donation of all of the school supplies, my students have been more organized and on top of things than ever before. This year has been a huge transition for the kids in my classroom. After spending a year online and away from a physical classroom, keeping organized has been a challenge. But not anymore! Your donation has changed all of that!

  My students have been able to keep on top of their work and supplies this year because of the supplies they were gifted. Thank you for helping to teach the students the value of organization and being prepared.

• Reading in 3rd Grade

  Books are a central part of my classroom. We spend a great deal of time reading and enjoying them. Because of your generous donation, we were able to start our year off right by immediately diving right in to age-appropriate, high interest, engaging picture books and novels all about the new school year! The students were so excited to jump into the library and clear the shelves of these new books! They devoured each and every one, helping to cultivate a community of readers that is going strong to this day.

• Show Us the Books!

  I can not tell you how amazing this bookshelf that you have donated has been in our classroom. It is serving as a centerpiece to house and display all of the timely books in our classroom library. Every month I have been able to go into the library, pull out picture books that go along with the units we are learning about and seasonal books for display on this awesome little bookshelf.

  The outward facing shelf makes the books so enticing for the kids. They are becoming avid readers because of this simple little shelf. That is a gift that cannot be quantified. Your donation has made a huge difference in our classroom and we are all so very thankful.”
