• Dancing While Enhancing...Our Fitness!

  I wanted to express my gratitude for helping fund my project. My students are extremely grateful and excited about the equipment/materials they received. My students have been "assisting" me in putting together the exercise machine to use as part of a fitness circuit I have created. The exercise machine will also be used as a reward for exemplary behavior and also as a motivational tool for those students that need that extra incentive.

  I have seen a significant increase in effort and an all around improvement in conduct from my students with other exercise incentives and expect even greater things with our new weight training equipment. Thanks to all personal donors, The Donors Choose Community, and anonymous donors, I now have an additional motivational tool as well as a way to make my class more effective and fun at the same time! Special Thanks to The Orange Bowl Committee for taking our project through the finish line!”

• Use It or Lose It...Working Out Body & Mind

  I wanted to express my gratitude for helping fund my project. My students are extremely grateful and excited about the equipment/materials they received.

  My students have been using wireless headphones while on the bikes as part of a virtual fitness circuit I have created. The BluRay player along with the virtual DVDs are being used with the LCD TV as a reward for exemplary behavior and also as a motivational tool for those students that need that extra incentive. The Power Tower has helped my students increase their strength and stamina!

  I have seen a significant increase in effort and an all around improvement in conduct from my students. Thanks to Produce for Kids, Publix, and individual donors, I now have an additional motivational tool as well as a way to make my class more effective and fun at the same time!”

• Stamp Our Passport to Health!

  I wanted to thank Produce For Kids, Publix, and everyone that donated to our project. My students are thrilled with the new virtual fitness station. They are using the recumbent bikes as part of our fitness stations. I am using the virtual aspect of the exercise bikes as a reward/motivation for students that display a great work ethic, excel in academics, and have exemplary behavior. The equipment/resources we received through our project have given me an additional motivational tool as well as a way for my students to use technology during Physical Education while getting fit.”

• Exercising Around the Globe...Your Passport to Health!

They think it's the coolest thing ever to be able to exercise and see the world without ever even having to leave our Physical Education class!

• Getting Fit With Technology...Being Healthy Can Be FUN!

  I want to thank you again for funding our project. My students are very grateful for receiving these resources that otherwise they would probably never have the opportunity to experience. They are amazed at the different ways technology can be incorporated into Physical Education and exercising in general. Most of them don't even have a computer at home so having the ability to use a tablet and projector blows them away!

  My students are using the tablet to download exercise and virtual fitness apps. They are using the projector to display these videos onto the wall under the P.E. shelter and following along different adventures. These adventures incorporate different exercises while virtually moving through National Parks, World Monuments, and different countries. While exercising they're learning facts about these places. My students are now able to have fun and learn important educational facts while getting fit! Thanks again from all of us!”
