My students are growing towards being both bilingual and biliterate. The 50 books in this project will help grow our library and contain a variety of titles to appeal to the variety of readers in my classroom. Familiar titles like Mo Willems books, as well as authentic Spanish literature from Spain like El caballero que no tenia cabello, give them lots of options to choose from. My students are learning in both English and Spanish. My students range from recent immigrants to lifelong Okies. When they leave my room, they all have something in common no matter where they were born - they are bilinguals. This collection of books will help spark their love for reading and grow their reading skills. Thanks for helping us!
