A Doll Center for Discovering Play! Part 2
Funded Jan 10, 2024I want to extend my sincerest gratitude for your generous donation of doll accessories to complement our doll activity center, complete with feeding, changing, bathing, and sleeping areas. Your thoughtful contribution has enriched my classroom learning environment, providing invaluable resources for our students with autism to enhance their language communication and develop skills in imaginary, social, solitary, and parallel play.
Your support has allowed me to create engaging and inclusive play experiences that cater to the unique needs of each of my students. The added doll accessories not only enhance the realism of caregiving scenarios but also promote language development as my students articulate their thoughts and feelings during play using their preferred mode of communication.
The variety of accessories has provided a well-rounded play experience, encouraging creativity and exploration. Your generosity has not only provided toys but has opened avenues for our students to build social connections, engage in collaborative play, and further develop their cognitive and communication skills. They often have been observed sitting in the doll strollers either being pushed around by or peer or feeding the dolls in the activity center.
