  • Asian and Pacific Islands Heritage Games

    Funded Apr 9, 2025

I cannot begin to state how much I appreciate the support you have provided to give my students with autism traditional games from Asia and the Pacific Islands. Your generosity will give them a meaningful and engaging way to connect with these rich cultures during Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May. Through hands-on play, they will gain cultural insights and experiences that go far beyond the classroom. I truly appreciate your kindness and the joy the games will bring to my social skills classroom.”

  • Protecting Their Voices: Screen Protectors for Communication Devices

    Funded Feb 26, 2025

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness and generosity in supporting my students. Because of you, I was able to provide screen protectors for their communication devices—tools they rely on every day to express themselves, participate in learning, and engage with the world around them.

These screen protectors add an essential layer of protection, reducing the risk of damage and preventing long repair times that could leave my students without a voice. Your support has truly made a difference in their daily lives, ensuring they have a consistent and reliable means of communication.

I am beyond grateful for your generosity and the positive impact you have made. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for helping to create a more accessible and supportive learning environment for my students.”

  • Bouncing Into Basketball During Black History Month

    Funded Dec 27, 2024

Your generous donation of basketball hoops and balls have been a real slam dunk! The students have been incredibly enthusiastic about learning the game, especially as they've discovered the story of Michael Jordan and his incredible basketball skills. They've had a blast practicing passing the ball back and forth and shooting from modified two and three-point zones. It's been wonderful to watch them cheer each other on, just like real basketball fans, and I've even overheard them shouting "score" when one of their peers makes a shot.

The excitement is contagious! I pass by the students in the hallway, and some students eagerly ask me, "Are we playing basketball today?". The hoops and balls will be passed along to our gym teacher, who will continue to help them build their passing, shooting, and dribbling skills. Your support has created such a positive and motivating environment for them, and we are truly grateful. Thank you again for making this experience possible for our students!”

  • Swinging Into Golf Fitness

    Funded Dec 28, 2024

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of golf clubs, balls, and holes for my students. Your contribution has provided an incredible opportunity for them to not only learn about the game of golf but also discover the importance of focus, fitness, and perseverance. During Black History Month, the students were inspired by the legacy of Tiger Woods and engaged with the game in ways that are helping them develop valuable skills. The hands-on experience has fostered a deep interest in golf, and it has been truly rewarding to see how this sport is capturing the attention of all the students, including those who typically show less engagement.

It's been especially exciting to watch the gym teacher build on these lessons by refining the students posture and strokes, helping them develop both physical and mental discipline. One of our students, who typically doesn't speak much, walked into my classroom and immediately said golf showing just how much this activity has sparked his interest. Your support is making a real difference in their lives, not just by giving them the tools to learn, but by fostering a new sense of motivation and self-confidence. Thank you again for helping make this possible!”

    With gratitude,

  • Group Table for Collaborative Learning

    Funded Dec 31, 2024

On behalf of my K-2 students with autism, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your generous donation of the kidney-shaped table. This thoughtful gift has made a significant impact in my classroom. By providing a space where my students can actually fit their legs comfortably, I've already seen noticeable improvements in their focus, attention, and overall participation. It was amazing to see a student who normally hates to color coloring in an entire worksheet according to the directions. Two other student did not make any attempts to run away from their seats.

These books have proven to be invaluable tools in helping my young learners engage with language in a fun, dynamic way.
