• Expose 2nd Graders to Science!

The children in my classroom are just now reviewing classifications of animals - mammals, fish, birds, amphibians, etc., and these materials will be the perfect way to cap these lessons. It will allow them to see, in person, the similarities and differences between these animals. What better way to learn than by seeing things firsthand?

• Kids Need Art!

  Thank you so much. I cannot wait to initiate some art projects with these children. I have some drawing paper and I have had them drawing and coloring, but to actually be able to create things like an insect, suncatchers, and friendship bracelets, are exciting even to me as their teacher. I cannot wait because these materials will allow them to really draw them into lessons on math, science, and social studies in fun ways. They will no longer just be reading from books, they will be experiencing what I am teaching.

• High Frequency Help!

• Math Games!

  We really appreciate your generosity in helping us obtain these At-Your-Seat Math games. They are sure to be a GREAT help in our classroom as my students really need interactive materials in order to learn concepts in math. Workbooks just won't do the trick; they need to play, feel, talk about, and feel excited about math in order to really engage with the materials.

• Help Improve Second Grade Reading!

  Thank you so much for your generosity. You cannot even imagine the help these materials will provide these children in my classroom. They are in second grade but due to various learning disabilities, some of them still do not know their letter names and sounds. Leapfrog is a great way to have them learn their sounds and letter names in a fun interactive way. I cannot wait to have the children begin using these materials.

• Time for Kids!
