• Distance Learning Resources for Inner City Kinder Kids

  Thank you very much for your donations! Thank you for supporting my young kindergarten students! We appreciate your help during these difficult times in distance learning. Your donations bring concrete resources that my students have used immediately. Your contributions have helped my students learn at home:)

  Your donation has helped purchase sight word journals for every kinder student in my class. These journals are not provided by my school. My young students are learning how to write and read sight words They are using these journals at home during their distance learning.

  The TPT gift card has helped me purchase distance learning curriculum: interactive google activities from the Teachers Pay Teachers website.These costly power points are used on a daily basis to engage my students in daily distance learning from home.

  This Donorschoose grant has given my students much needed math resources during this pandemic. We are still learning from home.

  These math resources have been distributed to my kinder kids so that they have the math resources they need to learn math at home. They use the dry erase boards every day and in every academic subject to work on math problems through zoom distance learning.

This project has provided Distance Learning resources bags for each of my students in my Kindergarten class. The families at my school have been using these resources to help their children become successful academically in school.

  The SideTrak Slide has helped me as a teacher engage my students during zoom distance learning. I am able to view every student on my screen while I teach my distance learning lessons at home. The SideTrak Slide's 270° screen rotation allows me to adjust it to my viewing preference.

• Teaching Inner City Kinder Kids That Black Lives Matter

  Thank you for your donations to my project! These multicultural books are used for daily story read-aloud through Distance Learning/Zoom with my students. We have discussed the messages of each book. Teaching my students that we are all beautiful!

  At the beginning of the school year, students participated in social studies lessons to learn about Ruby Bridges, the Civil Rights movement, and the Black Lives Matter movement. They have learned how to be part of the solution.

  The multicultural crayon sets and markers were distributed to all my students at the beginning of the year in take-home supplies/resource bags for distance learning.”

• Art Supplies for Young Kinder Students

  Thank You so much for your generous donations to my project! My students were sooo happy and excited when the boxes arrived in our classroom. We were able to use the new paint cups to paint on Fridays. The children were able to paint anything they would like. Their creativity was beautiful! There were rainbows, houses, abstract art and animals in their art pieces. I really miss being in the classroom with my students.

  Unfortunately because of the coronavirus I was unable to send my thank you cards. We used the construction paper for art projects in class. We made handprints thing one with the wiggly eyes for Read Across America week. It was our last art project of the school year. Thank you for helping me make lasting memories with my students:)”

  Thank You so much for your generous donations to my project! My students were soo happy and excited when the boxes arrived in our classroom. We were able to use the magnetic hundreds chart in class during math time. We used the number bonds during small group math groups. We were able to use the play dough during both math and literacy groups.

  I brought home all the magnetic materials and was able to use the counters, hundred chart and most of the math manipulatives for me Distance Learning with my students.

  Thank you for helping me make lasting memories with my students:) Unfortunately because of the coronavirus I was unable to send my thank you cards. I really miss being in the classroom with my students.”

• Kinder Kids Love To Read!

  Thank You so much for your generous donations to my project! My students were so happy and excited when the magazines arrived to our classroom. We were able to use the magazines during our small groups to discuss the pictures and articles.My students would look forward to having our magazine time. They loved having discussions. I would send them home every month for them to share with their families.

  Unfortunately because of the coronavirus I was unable to send my thank you cards. I was able to send home all the magazines I had received so that they could enjoy them at home during this pandemic.
