• Inner City Preschool Kids Need Play Kitchen and Toys!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to my project! These students were using a really old dilapidated kitchen. We were able to dump it and install a brand new kitchen. Students develop their vocabulary and communication skills through interacting with friends in pretend scenarios.

  Dramatic play is especially beneficial for students who are shy and might not otherwise participate in group activities. My students love the kitchen area! They love using the make believe food during their center time.”

• Musical Instruments for Inner City Kinder Kids!

  Thank you so much for your donations to my project! My students love music and we really needed these musical instruments! My young students love the scarves and Rhythm Sticks! We have discovered several students that are talented! We use them often and it helps to relieve their stress and anxiety.

• PE Equipment for Kinder Kids!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students loved the balls, dodgeballs and hoops! They were excellent quality. They enjoyed using all our new equipment with games of team dodgeball against another kindergarten class. This equipment will be used by two kindergarten classrooms.

• Insects In Our Environment!

  Thank you for funding my project! Ky young students love bugs! They love observing insects very day! We use the insect counters everyday in math! We are learning to count, add and subtract! We are currently observing the butterfly life cycle and are excited to see our butterflies grow! We are using all the insect resources we received to learn more about insects! We have learned that insects are living things and are beneficial to us!

• Kinder Kids Learn About Plants In Our Environment!

  Thank you for your donation to my project! My students love learning about plants! We have a school garden and we visit and water our vegetable plants every day! We have used all our resources during our IB unit on plants! It was awesome to have extra resources to learn about plants, how they grow and how to take care of our plants. We used all the read aloud books every day after lunch to enjoy learning more about plants.

They love the magnatiles. building rods and wood play structures! They enjoy building structures, cars, trucks, houses and apartment buildings. • Kinder Kids Need a Cubby Shelf for our Math Manipulatives!

It has helped us keep our classroom clean and clutter-free. We use our cubby shelf everyday for all our math manipulatives! My students enjoy playing and using all our math resources. • Essential Resources for Kinder Kids

  Thank you for your donations! It was wonderful to receive all these essential resources for my classroom! The wobble cushions were awesome for my students to use in class while working on their independent work. A wobble cushion is an inflatable air cushion that provides pelvic support, encourages postural control and helps with movement and balance. My students loved using them in class.

  I used the liquid chalk markers to write our daily schedule and special events every day.

  My students didn't have to keep asking what was planned. They saw my notes and it helped ease stress throughout the day.”

• Teaching Resources for an Inner City Kinder Teacher!

  Thank you so much for your donations to my project! The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card has helped me find art and language art resources to use with my young students. We have used the dry erase boards and dry erase markers in every academic subject. We used them in math to add and subtract. We have used them to practice writing our numbers.

  We have also used our whiteboards and markers in our small groups during language arts. My students have practiced writing their names, sight words and letter formation.”

• Kinder Kids Love Art!

  Thank you so much for your donations to my donorschoose project! My students love using the play dough every day! It helps relief stress and anxiety. Art helps provide kids with critical sensory input and helps children express their feelings in a multidimensional mode when they lack the vocabulary to describe their feelings with words.

  They love using the paint brushes with tempera paint on our classroom easels. They create beautiful works of art every week and they love taking them home to share with their families. My students have many opportunities to use the different colored construction paper to create art, cards and anything they want every day!”
