Making Handwriting Fun With Handwriting Without Tears Books!
Funded Dec 25, 2024Thank you for your generous and kind donations that brought my project "Making Handwriting Fun with Handwriting Without Tears Books" to life. This project was for "Handwriting Without Tears" workbooks for my students to use during their occupational therapy sessions so that they can learn how to write neatly in a fun and easy way. I was so excited to receive the books and begin to use them with my students.
I am so grateful to have the opportunity to give my students their own workbook. When students have a book that they can call their own to work in, it gives them a sense of ownership and pride towards their work. In return, they are more motivated to complete their work in a neat manner, and it is easy for them to go back and see the progress that they are making! The "Handwriting Without Tears" program is simple and enjoyable, and I know my students will enjoy learning how to write neatly, which is a skill that will last a lifetime.
Once again, thank you for generous and thoughtful donations! It is so heartwarming to receive the support of others, so that I can give my student's the opportunities they deserve to succeed! I am proud to be part of the "Donor's Choose" community and so grateful that you were a part of making this project happen!”

Funded Jan 27, 2025Thank you so much for your generous donations which brought my project "Fun Fidgets for Learning" to life! This project was for fidgets for my students to use during their therapy sessions to help them attend and focus.
Many of my students have decreased attention and therefore benefit so much from having these fidgets to help them attend! Additionally, many of my students come from low-income homes and don't have access to these fidgets at home. My students are so excited to be able to choose a fidget to use during their therapy sessions. They loved playing with them and asked if they can use them again next time! They especially loved the flexible magnet fidgets!
Once again, THANK YOU for your kind donations! I am beyond grateful to have these fidgets to give to my students to use, thanks to your help. I am honored to be part of the Donor's Choose Community!”

Funded Jan 11, 2025Thank you so much for your generous donations which brought my project "Sensory Prizes to Promote Learning" to life! This project was for prizes for my students as an incentive for doing well in occupational therapy.
Many of my students come from low income homes, and therefore don't necessarily have the privilege to receive small prizes frequently. My students are so excited to be able to choose a prize or treat from the new prize box when they complete their work for the day. The smiles on their faces are priceless! They are so excited to show their choice to their friends! Additionally, I see a big improvement in their motivation and work performance, when they know they will receive a prize at the end of the session. Today my students selected the prizes of their choice and were so excited! They were discussing with each other what they will use the prizes for and one student said she will give it to her younger sibling for a birthday present!
Once again, THANK YOU for your kind donations! I am beyond grateful to have these prizes to give my students, thanks to your help. I am honored to be part of the Donor's Choose Community!”
