It has been such a pleasure to interact with my students in this way. These donated books and materials have truly made such a meaningful impact. Teaching Compassion for Animals Through Play Therapy
Funded Sep 26, 2018On behalf of my students, thank you thank you thank you! Your donations of toys to teach compassion for animals has been a huge success with my students. The hands-on approach to learning by building animals with Legos and by seeing animals' natural homes has opened my students' eyes to the importance of animals and preserving their habitats. My students were overjoyed at having these new materials to learn and play with to enhance their lessons. So much of speech therapy is based on motivating students to improve their speech and language skills. These donations provided just the motivation they needed to stay engaged and learn in fun and innovative ways. Thank you again for your interest and for supporting this project!”

Funded Nov 5, 2017Thank you for your kind donations! As a result of your generosity, I have received numerous texts to enhance my knowledge of speech-language pathology. The 101 Games and Activities for autism have sparked my creativity when treating my students. The articulation books and pragmatic language activities have given me new insight into tricks and techniques to help target my students' speech and language goals. It is not easy to find the time and money to enhance your education and knowledge with a busy schedule. Your donations motivated me to make the time and to educate myself further. Thank you for helping me become a better speech therapist, and thank you on behalf of my students who will reap the benefits from these donated materials!”

Funded Dec 21, 2015Dear Donors,
I can't thank you enough for the resources you provided for me and my students. I work tirelessly to keep my students engaged in speech and language activities over the course of the school year, and your materials helped me accomplish this mission in such a big way.
The day the packages arrived was especially exciting. The students who came into my speech room were overjoyed to see all of the brand new materials they would soon be using. It was like a big present for all of us! Over the course of several weeks, I introduced a new activity to my group, such as the fishing game or Mrs. Potatohead. The students were so excited the use fishing poles to catch magnetic fish, all the while engaging in speech and language-based tasks. Mrs. Potatohead has been especially versatile and is fun for so many ages!
Overall, I am so grateful to you for funding my project. My students have been able to use resources I otherwise would not have been able to afford. The students have made so many improvements in their speech and language abilities, and you donors have played such a large role in that! Thank you again!”
