I am a Speech Language Pathologist and I work with student that are Pre-K age all the way up to Seniors in High School. All of my student have communication differences and they come to me to work on communicating more effectively. This could mean we are working on their speech sounds so that their teachers and peers can understand them more clearly. It could mean we are working on asking and answering questions. It could mean that we are working on speech generating communication devices or some other means of communication. My student are all individuals with individual communication needs. Every one deserves a voice! Communication is at the core of being a human being. We need to connect with others to have a happy and healthy life. My students are amazing diverse individuals that all have something to say. And they deserve to say it and have it understood!
