• Headphones for All!

  Thank you for your donation to fully fund our classroom headphones project! Having a new set of classroom headphones will be so helpful for our technology use in the classroom. Often students bring headphones from home that are not suitable to use with the technology that we have at school so having these set and ready for them is extremely helpful. They will be used for small group workshop stations where students can receive differentiated instruction using technology and headphones!

• Graphic Novels Galore in 4th Grade!

  Thank you for your donations toward this graphic novel project! Bringing these new books into our 4th grade classroom has brought an extra added level of excitement and engagement that has lasted for days! Students are thrilled to read these new graphic novels and are frequently chatting with their classmates about which new books that they recommend and why they loved them! Graphic novels like The I Survived Series, Hilo Series, and more have been such a hit!

• Nonfiction Text for the 4th Grade Classroom!

  Thank you for your donation toward this nonfiction book project! This project funded numerous National Geographic books that students really enjoy reading. The text provides students with vivid photographs and numerous interesting sections about factual topics. Getting students interested in their reading is an essential step in the reading process! For example, one student was reading the new book about castles and was so excited to share their new learning every day after independent reading time.

• Back To School Basics

  Thank you so much for fully funding this classroom essentials project! Having pencils, notebooks, folders, pens, crayons, art paper, duck tape, white out, dry erase markers, highlighters, and much more makes our learning possible! We use most of these supplies every day and are always needing extras of these essentials. Knowing that these daily essential supplies will be available is such a relief and we are very grateful for your support! Also student will be thrilled to see that more Play-doh has arrived!”

• Printed Perfect!

  Thank you so much for fully funding this printer project! During the last few months of the 2021-22 school year, I did not have access to a working printer and this made my job very hectic! Knowing that I now have access to a reliable printer is such a relief! Additionally, I have never had a printer that will also make copies and fax. This will be tremendously helpful and is a function that can be shared with multiple teachers! Sometimes making last minute copies is necessary and it will be so helpful to have a copier right in the room! I can now quickly copy students' individual work and send home examples to share with their caretakers!

• Bins for Everyday Organization

As Covid and health guidelines are being adjusted, we are able to reimagine how we can organize and access our individual supplies on a daily basis! Each student will have access to their own bin that will help them to stay organized and ready to learn. The bins will hold daily essentials like notebooks, folders, pencils, and much more!

  Thank you for your donation towards this project! One of the biggest costs that was funded by this project was a year supply of sharpened pencils! Having sharpened pencils and daily basic supplies is so helpful and we really appreciate your support towards this project! This project also funded daily classroom items like Lysol wipes, masks, bandages, slime, and books! Having funding for items like masks and bandages is crucial for creating a safe and clean 4th grade learning environment. Thanks again!”

Additionally, this project funded numerous books that are enjoyed in the 4th grade classroom! Books like Because Claudette, Jukebox, The Year We Learned To Fly, and Measuring Up are just a few of the many titles that were added to our classroom library with the funding of this project! • Diverse Reads, Pencils, Games, and Daily Essentials!

  Thank you for your donation towards this project! We are constantly in need of new sharpened pencils, erasers, and Lysol wipes. Also, the Teacher Pay Teachers gift card has already been used to buy some very fun pre-designed projects for the variety of holidays during this month. Also, we were able to update our bulletin boards and keep our published writing nice and neat using the new dry erase pockets. Lastly, the games like Ants in the Pants and Hi Ho! Cheery-O! were very exciting to play during choice time today!

• Diverse Reads, Carpet Squares, and More!

  Thank you so much for your donations towards this project! The games like Noodle Knockout and Guess Who have added so much laughter and fun to our Friday choice time. The carpet squares have added a fun, flexible, and comfortable way for students to read during independent reading time. Most importantly, we have loved having more diverse books! We were able to read the JoJo Makoons book together as a class. The author of JoJo Makoons, Dawn Quigley, is a member of the Ojibwe tribe and she include many meaningful parts of her culture into the story. This provides the students with a peak into another person's culture and traditions!
