Art Meets Science: A Winning Combo
Funded Mar 27, 2024Thank you for helping my students make models in my class! They absolutely love model-making and ask when we will be doing model-making again.
We've made models for most systems of the body. Creating and analyzing model helps students understand how the organs of each system are connected, as well as remembering location, learning essential vocabulary terms, and the functions of each organ. My students were excited to help me build the mobile shelving unit which is perfect for works in progress. My AP Research student found the Arts-Based Research book really helpful. The stencils have been a huge hit and have already gotten a lot of usage.
We appreciate your kind generosity!”

They really appreciate our new pencil sharpener -- my students use their new colored pencils a lot! The craft mats have helped to keep our table tops clean, especially when they work with clay or the glue gun. My students were excited to help me build the mobile shelving unit; now onto organizing all of our supplies!
Your kind support is appreciated!”

Funded Mar 20, 2024Thank you for helping to provide materials for us to build a positive community! My Dungeons and Dragons Club members helped to unbox the items and they were so excited as they organized the items!
Your support gave us the opportunity to teach others the game. The setting, character options, and campaign helped my newest Dungeon Masters assist our newcomers in learning how to play. They also developed vital skills through playing Dungeons and Dragons, such as problem-solving, communication, and risk assessment.
They absolutely loved this experience! I appreciate your support in helping to provide them with this opportunity.”

Funded Apr 2, 2024Thank you for helping me to improve my education by taking the Trauma Informed Classroom course through Idaho State University.
Because of you, I was able to earn three graduate credits. But beyond that, I have learned new tools, strategies, and best practices to be a trauma-informed educator. So many of my students have experienced trauma, so this course was essential to my practice. In addition to the regular course lessons, I was able to connect and discuss with other educators, which provided even more valuable feedback on my practice. Students have responded positively to some of the additional self-regulation strategies, restorative practices, and discipline with dignity.
I appreciate your generous support!”

Funded Dec 14, 2023Thank you for supporting my students and our literacy quest! They were so excited when the boxes arrived.
Promoting literacy in my classroom is a priority. Having books in my classroom library that students want to read is a necessity. This project was created with this in mind, so with your contribution to this project, you helped to support this endeavor. It has been amazing to see the increased interest in reading a book. Students who finish early always have the option to read a book, some will choose one to read during lunch or after school, and others borrow books to read at home. Dungeons and Dragons is very popular with many of my students, so they were extremely excited to see those books and games.
Thank you for helping me promote literacy in my classroom! Your kindness is appreciated.”

Body Systems Games
Funded Jan 18, 2024Thank you so much for helping my students learn about the nervous, endocrine, and immune systems through these awesome games and kits!
My students love playing games. These games were no exception. They were introduced in a station rotation activity and then kept as an option for early finishers or when I did small groups. Students enjoyed playing these games. The endocrine system manipulatives kit helped students visualize the different glands and their hormones. They also had fun creating their own game with these manipulatives, which helped to test their memory and supported their communication, problem-solving, and cooperative learning skills.
We are so grateful for your kindness!”

Supplies for Students
Funded Jan 8, 2024You are amazing! Thank you for helping to provide the necessary supplies that my students need to succeed.
Our Success Center offers a variety of materials for students related to hygiene, as well as clothing. Feminine hygiene products are always a need, so your generosity allowed us to re-stock this necessity. Mental health is also important and "Games Day" is a popular option for that. They are always excited to learn a new game.
Thank you for helping to support my students' overall well-being by contributing to this project!”

Funded Jan 8, 2024Thank you so much for helping to re-stock my snack stash for students! It is awesome to offer healthier snacks for students to select when they need a snack.
The storage keeps snacks organized and free from any pests. My students have said, "thank you," every time they choose a snack--they are so grateful for them. Because of you, they are able to concentrate on what they are learning rather than on how hungry they are. My students have expressed appreciation for the variety of snacks available.
Thank you for your kind generosity!”

Funded Nov 29, 2023Thank you for helping my students learn about their lungs and kidneys! My students absolutely loved learning through the hands-on activities that you helped provide through donating to this project.
Creating the lung models helped my students visualize the anatomy as well as how they work. Learning about vaping and its effects on the lungs is crucial with the prevalence of vaping in our community. That activity was eye-opening for our students and inspired a lot of awesome discussions. My students are always excited with dissections and the kidneys were no exception. It helped them connect with what they learned during the kidney dialysis activity.
We are so grateful for your kind generosity!”

AP Capstone is an awesome program. The skills that they learn are invaluable. The students are amazing and I love to support their diverse interests. These books have truly helped them in their research investigations with methodology and content. They were so excited when the boxes came--they immediately wanted to use the books that applied to them. My students have been enthusiastic in sharing their discoveries and insights from the books we received.
Thank you for believing in my students and investing in their education. We appreciate you!”
