My students are in a visual and performing arts academy. They are mostly visual learners. They are all very talented folks that act, sing, play instruments, and/or are artistically inclined. Many of them come to school hungry: many for basic needs like food and love. Many of them are hungry to learn, but are not stimulated by school. I try to bring things into the classroom that will spark an interest in all of my students.
