  • Building Up Our Fluency!

    Funded Feb 2, 2021

During the remote platform I had to come up with innovative ways to help ensure all my students had access to learning. This project I was able to create a virtual platform to help build their fluency skills. Students were able to solve basic problems quickly and accurately so they can focus their mental energies on more difficult higher-level math skills, like problem-solving.

My students were excited to have another resource to practice Math virtually. We loved engaging in Number Talks daily in our math blocks. I was amazed at how they got their brains to think mathematically.

Thanks for helping my students succeed in Math.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Smart

  • 4th Grade Digital Subscriptions

    Funded Dec 13, 2020

Thank you for believing in me in efforts to give my students access to these digital subscriptions.

My students never ever had a subscription to anything in their lives and the way that I engaged them in this process made it even more exciting for them when they received the first issues.

These subscriptions helped enhance my teaching and provide my students with more resources to help them learn. My students looked forward to getting the next month subscription.

The dynamath subscription open the eyes of my students to seeing math in ways they could never imagine.

    Thanks again!”

  • The 4th Grade Digital World

    Funded Oct 9, 2020

Being fully remote the main key to engage students is through interactive activities. The resources from the project I was able to get my students digitally resources to help them learning through the virtual platform. Many of my students need extra support when it comes to teaching the curriculum and I have been able to provide them with many different digital lessons to give them a fun learning experience.

Many of my students struggle with having the right technology to complete daily assignments. In the beginning my students would complete workbook pages and submit pictures but it was hard to see and many would not do it. Because of this project I am now able to give them more of hands on fun interactive way to complete the same workbook pages.

One activity that my students love is the virtual escape rooms. Each Friday I give them the opportunities to work in groups to complete various escape rooms based on the lessons covered during the week. Students are excited for Fun Fridays when they look forward to participating in this fun challenge. The team building skills is helping the void of being face to face in the classroom.

    Thanks again!”

My co-teacher and I have been grateful for the creative learning materials you help donate which are setting my students up for success! The new school year has been off to a great start, our students are able to unleash their creative minds and get to work with the supplies provided in this project.

  • Healthy Minds..Healthy Bodies in 5th Grade!

    Funded Oct 18, 2018

On behalf of my co teacher and myself we would like to thank you for donating to our Healthy Minds... Healthy Bodies in 5th Grade project. The goal for this project was to create an environment that is warm, safe, and welcoming while maintaining a fun, creative learning atmosphere for 5th graders and from these materials we are doing just that. This school year we have already started to increase attendance with having students coming to school daily.

One highlight from this project is that we are eliminating the amount of germs that are in our classroom with our personal sanitizers which were purchased. Each student has an individual sanitizer attached to his or her desk that they can use anytime they want. A fun activity we do each week is see who can collect the most dirt on the Lysol wipes, our students are so engaged in this process of keeping our classroom clean and healthy. When we first received the supplies our students were excited to open the materials and begin putting them to use. The donation of healthy snacks help students stay energized throughout their day.

Thanks again for donating to this project, my classroom has become a safer and healthier place. These supplies maintain a healthy classroom environment for my students, which keeps them learning year-round.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Smart
