VersaTile Engagement
Funded Aug 21, 2021We are so grateful for your contributions to this project. These materials have given students cross-curricular activities that challenge the "normal way" to show understanding.
Versatiles help make demonstrating learning fun while also creating an exciting challenge in the process.
The students work with ideas in ways that entice them to think deeper about the concepts and make connections across subjects. The process of determining the answers is put in a fun self check manner so that students can work independently and have a way to know if the work they are doing is accurate.”

Funded Aug 13, 2021We are so appreciative of the support for this project. This project will help provide my students with access to different project based learning and cross curricular projects.
The gift cards are to a website of materials and resources created by teachers for teachers. These materials will be used across grade levels to help enrich our learning experiences.
Being able to have access to fun projects will make our learning take on a new level that is fun and rigorous to challenge the students while also connecting to authentic ideas.”

Funded Feb 27, 2021Thank you for contributing to my flexible seating project. The students were so excited to see the new seats at our guided learning table and were eager to get to work at the table.
We are so appreciative of your support especially during the difficult times of covid. Returning to the classroom was not an easy transition after almost an entire year of learning from home. This flexible seating opportunity made transitioning back to learning in person easier.
Putting a smile on the kids faces was the highlight of this project. Thank you for that.”

Funded Jan 21, 2020Thank you so much for your contribution to our classroom by donating to our relatable materials project!
Dynamath was a hit and was able to still be used as we transitioned remotely. The students loved how real events were used to create math problems that were related to the real world! Storyworks and the STEAM pack helped the students be able to read about real-world issues and real-world applications of various subjects and concepts. The Hands-On kits were so fun and helped the kids grasp a better understanding of math strategies. 'Smath is like scrabble but with math equations! The kids definitely had a hard time waiting their turn to be able to play this during math and even choose it over games during indoor recess.
Although the students only had a short time with these materials they definitely enjoyed them and as we return to in person this new set of students will enjoy them just as much!”

Collaborating through Chromebooks
Funded Mar 30, 2017This technology has completely transformed our classroom! The students are able to access many more resources and programs to support and demonstrate their learning. Our classroom is able to connect and collaborate with others in our school and community. The Chromebooks allow for instruction to be brought right to the front of the students' screens through interactive and engaging digital formats. The students are able to practice and learn with technological tools they will use throughout their futures. The Chromebooks are quick and easy to use. The students are enthusiastic about learning when using Chromebooks and prefer to use them in any and all activities. We can not thank you enough for helping bring our classroom to the 21st century!”

Funded Aug 25, 2016We can not thank you enough for the donation you have provided to our classroom. The kindle fires have made a vital impact in our day to day experiences in the classroom. There is not a school day that has gone by that the kindles have not been used. The kindles have provided a multitude of opportunity for our class. We have used them for skill practice programs, research, and reading. There are so many great book choices provided on the kindles and the students love to choose their next book on the kindle. This technology has made the greatest difference in our classroom, thank you very much for your support.”

Funded Mar 1, 2016The students were beyond ecstatic the first day they were able to use the bouncy bands. The bouncy bands were enthusiastically bouncing the entire day and the students were more focused than they had been throughout the entire year. The kids eagerly showed off the bouncy bands to other kids in the school and their families. The bouncy bands were the talk of the school. Another classroom has even received their own set of bouncy bands due to the high success and popularity of the bands in my room.
The bands have increased my students' ability to stay on task and focused for longer periods of time. When the students are actively working the bands are vigorously moving. The students are less in need of movement breaks and enjoy sitting in their seats. As before the students would get antsy or ask to sit on the floor or in a different area of the room. Now the students prefer their own seats and enjoy to work independently.
This project has been a great success and has improved my students performance in class. This project wouldn't have been possible without your help. Thank you so much for helping my students be successful.”

Kindle E-Readers
Funded Aug 25, 2015I can not thank you both enough for the donation to my class's Kindle E-Readers Project. The impact this project has had on my class is immense. These Kindle E-Readers have sparked an enormous interest in my students' reading. The students can not wait for their turn to use the Kindle E-Readers. The students are more eager and look forward to reading when they get to use the Kindle E-Readers. Not only has this project built a stronger interest in reading it has allowed my students to have a wider range of text available to them through the Internet capabilities and e-book reading. This has been such a special project for my students who don't have access to technology outside of school. They are so thankful to be able to have the chance to use these Kindle E-Readers to learn in school. Thank you for making this all possible.”

Multitude of Math!
Funded Oct 15, 2014My class and I are very grateful for your donations. We have enjoyed our new math resources tremendously. The students love when they are able to work with the different resources. All of the materials challenge the students to practice math, but in a fun and engaging way.
The students use the resources most during our work stations in the afternoon. Each week the students rotate through ten stations. Four or five of those stations are math related and typically include the use of one or more of the many new materials we received. The students are ecstatic during math reviews to be able to play bingo to study for the test. The task cards are used independently to practice different math skills and the students are eager to spend time working on the problems.
The resources have greatly increased the student's learning of math concepts. The students use the resources to strengthen their understanding of math content through various applications. The students are engaged and interested in math when they are able to use our new and exciting materials.”
