These books will make a tremendous difference in my students' lives. My students will have access to a variety of content. My school is in a low income area. The classroom may be one of the only places they're able to read these types of books. I want my students to have reading materials that are focused on several different cultures, beliefs, and traditions. Learning about different cultures opens students' eyes up to the world around them. These books will also focus on information about the world. Important facts, and materials in order for them to mentally, and academically grow. Books will be used in the classroom setting to ensure all students have access. I will use these books during independent reading blocks. A number of the books align to my lessons throughout the year. These books will foster learning and support my students in understanding important content.
