I am writing to express my heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of the VEVOR Button Maker Machine and Button Making Supplies. Your contribution has made a significant impact on our students' creativity and has brought joy to our classroom.

The students were overjoyed when the package arrived, and they could not wait to get started on their button-making projects. • STEM + Art = Fun STEAM Ahead for Underserved Children!

    Funded Nov 25, 2022

I am writing to express my sincerest gratitude for your generosity in creating a wonderful opportunity for my students to learn about absorption, saturation, and chromatography through the creation of tie-dye shirts. It was such a pleasure to see my students engaged and excited to learn about science in such a fun and hands-on way.

My students were so excited when the packages arrived. They could wait to see inside. As we opened the box the smiles on their faces grew wider and wider. They were absolutely enthusiastic with the science / art project they were going to experience.

During the process of making the shirts, my students were thrilled to see the outcome of their work and couldn't wait to wear their tie-dye shirts. It was a great experience for them to learn how to mix colors, test for saturation, and observe the chromatography of the dyes. The activity helped them to not only learn about these concepts but also to apply them in a real-life scenario, which made the learning experience more meaningful and enjoyable for them.

Thank you for providing my students with such a fantastic opportunity to explore science in such a fun and interactive way. Your efforts to make this activity a success are much appreciated, and I am grateful for your support in helping my students to build their knowledge of absorption, saturation, and chromatography. They had a blast, and I'm sure that they will always remember this experience.

P.S. We are saving the tie-dye bandana for the end of the year. They are really looking forward to it.”

  • Turning Writers into Authors & Illustrators!

    Funded Apr 7, 2022

From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for your generosity and support to my young scholars. As the students walked into the classroom, their eyes lit up with excitement at the sight of the colorful Crayola Broad Line Markers, fresh tipped pencils, snacks and the Hardcover Blank Books placed neatly on their desks. They couldn't wait to get started on their writing and illustration assignments. The pre-sharpened pencils made it quick and easy to always have a sharp point for their final draft. The Pencil Grip Crossover Grip made the lengthy writing assignments a breeze, allowing them to focus on their creativity without worrying about cramping hands. And as they nibbled on the Premium Healthy Snacks, which included a Variety Assortment of Chips, Nuts, Bars, Crackers, Popcorn, Cookies & Delicious Treats, they felt re-energized and motivated to produce their best work yet.

The Castell 9000 Artist graphite pencils were a real game-changer for the students' illustrations. The students were thrilled to be using professional-quality pencils that allowed them to create detailed illustrations for their books. The combination of high-quality materials and delicious snacks made the classroom feel like a place of endless possibilities, and the students couldn't be happier to be there. Our next step is to transfer their work into their hardcover books. They are so excited to have their own book in their hands. They can't wait to see their finished products, knowing that the quality of the materials they were using would help them produce the best possible work.”

  • ART From The HeART For Underserved Students In South Central

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

We can't thank you enough for your generosity. It filled my heart being able to share with my students that there would be an extra special reward for the positive points they were earning. When I told them we would have a Snack and Paint Event they were overwhelmed with joy and excitement.

My students absolutely loved Snack and Paint time in the classroom! The double bonus was the snacks. There were thrilled to have a variety of tasty treats to eat while painting. Many shared that their mothers had attended an adult Paint Night that they were not allowed to attend, so they felt extra special to have their own experience.

I love including art as part of my weekly lesson plan but unfortunately with all the budget cuts, funding for art was one of the first to go. Art and creativity has a powerful positive effect on child's lives. I love seeing students tap into their imagination reveal the possibilities of their creations, especially the students who may be performing low academically. You made our wish come true and we thank you so much!”

  • Decrease Stress and Increase Success!

    Funded May 3, 2022

My deepest gratitude for helping my students adjust during Covid. Many families had been hit particularly hard, since they were struggling even before the pandemic. This created added stress levels in parents as well as their children. Schools have now, more than ever, become an essential place for children to feel secure, cared for, and redevelop the social skills lost during quarantine. My 3rd graders had not been in a classroom since they were in first grade. We are working hard making up for lost time as we focus on filling the gap and preparing them for the next grade level. However, sometimes they need a little extra support.

Your contribution has made a huge difference in my students. Thank you so much for giving them the gift of fun games and activities to play during recess. It helped them develop social skills, build friendships, and enjoy playtime. They are coming back to the classroom refreshed and ready to learn.

With your generous support my students not only have more options during recess but were also able to listen to music. I think they love the music the most. I see the instant shift in their mood once the music starts.

Again, thank you so much for making such a positive impact on my students experience at school.”

  • Building Community, Connection, & Collaboration in South Central

    Funded Jan 9, 2022

My students were absolutely thrilled as we opened the packages. They were so excited to dive in and start creating. The use of the materials had an immediate impact on the them. With these creative tools students built connection, collaboration and community. All year, we have been working on positive and encouraging words to use to describe ourselves and each other. And now students were able to bring their words into creative expression. Students worked together focusing on positive traits with in themselves, their classmates, and family members. They tapped into their creativity by creating and designing their own stickers and decals with the color printer and Cricut tools. They became visual reminder of their brilliance. The Cricut Heat Press was most helpful as we made t-shirts for every student in third grade. This was part our Black History Month performance where students learned to step and learn the history and culture of Historically Black Colleges & Universities. As the use and creativity continues their self-esteem expands. Thank you again for the bottom of my heart for caring and supporting my students.”

  • Tapping into Artistic Talents in South Central

    Funded Nov 10, 2021

First I want to share my deepest gratitude for helping fund our project. Our young scholars have been through so much these past 2 years, it was important for me more than ever to create art on a weekly basis. Your generous support has helped us achieve that. Students were so excited as we opened the boxes. I can still hear their smiling voices sharing their enthusiasm about the art we would be able to create. For all my students, it was their first time painting on canvas. They felt so special since previously they had only painted on paper. They also were able to make lovely gifts for their families. With the blending stumps they were able to enhance their drawings. This was their first experience with blending stumps. They were so impressed with their creations and I was too. ; ) It always fascinates me to see students' talents rise to the surface when teaching art. Many children are struggling academically due to the pandemic but I could visually witness their self esteem increasing as they saw their beautiful creations enfold before their eyes. They are looking forward to using the largest canvases to paint something special for their bedroom. I can't wait to see their paintings. Thank you so much!”

  • Inspiring Artists in South Central

    Funded Mar 13, 2012

I am so grateful and honored that you chose to donate to my class. I am amazed at the progress my budding artists have been making with the added art supplies. They are having so much fun! I regularly teach art class on Mondays. In fact, I am the only teacher at the school who teaches art every week. My "kids" love art so much that they are disappointed when a holiday falls on a Monday and they always ask if we can still have art class on another day. Of course, how can I resist they heart-filled joy to create. It is such a beautiful experience listening to them talk about how they feel like they are real artists. And I am right there to remind them that "yes" they are. I see many illustrators in the making. During the school year, I also encouraged my students to visit museums that were free to the public. One of my students, who especially stands out as an artist, learned about an art summer camp and his mom is enrolling him in the program. He never had interest in art prior to my class and it is with your generous donations that many students have been able to discover their artistic talents.

My talented artists were so excited when they found out we would be painting on canvas. They had so much fun with the paints. They also enjoyed enhancing their drawings with the colored pencils. It was so nice to display their beautiful art work on the new easels.

It touched my heart when parents would see their child's art work for the first time. They never knew the talent hidden within their child.

Thanks again for your generosity. With continuing budgets cuts the arts get pushed further and further away from the children. My students and I thank you for your support in keeping art alive in school.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sima

My third graders are an amazing group of active, talented scholars. The school they attend is a charter school located in a low income community. The school has been on "lock down" on occasion due to violence in the neighborhood. There have been homicides near the school and many of the students hear gun shots near their homes. Regardless of their environment they are eager to learn but sometimes the lack of background knowledge makes learning more difficult. My students do not have a lot of exposure outside of the inner city, especially related to the arts.
