My students are in need of a rug for reading and exploring. During our literacy block students are encourage to read and enjoy books while rotating through centers.The color block rug will also be used to explore different early math like shapes and patterns. The rug is our main meeting place and is central to our learning environment. The guiding reading books are key to helping my struggling readers explore reading. The books are colorful, engaging and with repetitive text, making it easier for my young readers to enjoy literature. Reading is a must in our classroom and school culture.
