  • Time is Critical When It Comes to Saving Lives!

    Thank you again for your generous donation to my class project. One of our key focuses is simulated experiences that provide "Real World SKills". As we all know, in the healthcare field time is precious. Time management is essential. Getting to work on time is critical. Remembering to clock in and clock out is absolutely necessary because it is connected to your pay check. My students love to be able to practice the things that will be required of them as they work to become future healthcare professionals.

  • Preparing the Future Health Care Professionals of Tomorrow, Today!

    Thank you so much for your generous donation!!! The students use the blood pressure sets weekly as they practice their skills. The skills are "patient" triage practice. During "patient triage", students are to take their "patients" vital signs. They include blood pressure, temps, pulse, respiration, and height & weight. These skills will definitely put them ahead as they prepare to become future doctors, nurses, dentists, medical assistants, medical laboratory techs, therapists and more!!!!”

In the Health Science Theory with Clinical Rotation class, we are future health care professionals of tomorrow! My students are getting a jump start on their futures while in high school. As juniors and senior they are receiving the knowledge and hands-on skills that they will need in order to be successful in the future as doctors, nurses, surgeons, dentists and etc. I chose to request the blood pressure and stethoscope kits because they are vital instruments that these future health providers will need. We all know that practice makes perfect and these items will help them perfect their skills.

About my class
