Our grade level is broken up into subject area - Math, ELA, Science/Social Studies. Our subject areas may be broken up, but we are united in providing every open opportunity to showcase the power of reading and the places it can take you. "The important thing is to not stop questioning, curiosity has its own reasoning for existing" - Albert Einstein. One of our goals is to influence our students so that they see how curiosity in a book can shift their perspective on books. If children can see that books are a source of power and curiosity rather than something to dread doing, then we will change the next generation's perspective on reading.
