  • A Space That Gives Us Our Very Own Place

    Thank you so very much for your generous donation. My kiddos will be so excited when they see that they have their very own spacious place to put their things. My small group table will finally be able to be used the way it should be, a place to use for teaching and learning.   • Oh Boy, I Get to Use Materials Like My Teacher

    My kindergartners were thrilled when we got new dry erase boards, markers, erasers, and letter magnets. We use the materials for Math and for Language Arts and as center activities. We use them everyday. During Math I have them use the plain white side. The lined sides we use during Language Arts.

    The lined sides are being used in a Writing center as well. The old set of dry erase lap boards we have are not magnetic and only have a plain white side. So the students were just drawing pictures. The new ones are great for the students to practice writing letters, numbers, and sight words. And they are doing just that.

    The letter magnets and magnetic lap boards are also being used in my manipulatives center. The kiddos love using the magnets to spell their names, the names of other friends in the class, and to match uppercase letters with their lowercase ones.
