A Few Writing Tools to Use
Funded Oct 30, 2019My students and I greatly appreciate your generous donation to our classroom. We were very excited to learn that we would have a brand new electric pencil sharpener. Having a heavy duty sharpener in the classroom allows us to spend more time writing and drawing instead of searching for sharpened pencils or using messy manual sharpeners.
My students also were thrilled to have new jumbo red pencils. The size of the pencils allow them to comfortably grip the writing tool properly. They have been taking great care of their new supplies and were eager to express their appreciation.”

Funded Aug 13, 2019My students are enjoying the resources you provided for our classroom. They love the bright colorful rug and have selected specific squares as their favorite to sit on. The rug also helps me manage the classroom during our morning meetings. Each student has their own space to sit comfortably. The rug has added a nice splash of color to our room.
We have also made great use of the paper organizer. Students now know where to place their classwork and homework. This has saved me time from having to sort through a pile of papers.
We appreciate your donation to our class and we're taking good care of everything we reveal. Thank you!”

Reading and Writing Is Very Exciting
Funded Nov 11, 2018My scholars are excited to use the tablet donated to our classroom. They have helped select educational applications to learn their alphabet sounds and letter identification. Each student is given 20-30 minutes to explore on the tablet. It is an engaging activity that they look forward to daily.
The most exciting part is that they are able to take photos of their work such as block building structures. My students save these photos and ask me to email them to their parents. The tablet has allowed students to use their creativity in a way they haven't been able to do in the classroom before.
My more reserved student has really opens up more now that we have new technology in the classroom. He is more verbal than usual and loves to discuss the applications he used during tablet time. I am do thankful that this product has sparked his interest.”

1..2..3..4 Math Materials We Need More!
Funded Apr 2, 2018My students have been so much more engaged in their learning since we received our new materials. We use our math kit daily during center time to reinforce counting and number sense. Their favorite game to play is Shape Bingo. The math materials have incorporated a variety of fun activities to our daily routine. Observing the life cycle of a butterfly using our Insect Lore Butterfly Kit has also been a popular activity in our classroom . My students watched caterpillars form a chrysalis and emerge as butterfly's. They can name and describe each stage of the butterfly's life cycle. On the day of the butterfly release my students waved good bye to their "little babies" as they flew away. I am so thankful to have been a part of a memorable learning experience with my students. All thanks to you for providing us with quality materials. Thank you so much for your generosity!”
