Journaling our Math Ideas!
Funded Nov 5, 2015Thank you so much for your generous donations to my classroom and my students. Your donations have helped me be able to have more resources to use with my students. The problem solving books have been very useful to help my students be able to practice more challenging questions on (and above/below) their grade level. The daily practice books have helped me able to pick specific skills for each student to work on in order to help them practice more in areas that they need extra help. The calendar books have been very useful for students to practice daily calendar skills. I have also been able to share these books with the classroom teachers so that they can have more resources to better reach all of their learners.
Thank you so much for donating towards my students!”

Supplying Some Special Students...
Funded Oct 21, 2015Thank you for donating to my students and my classroom. The materials that you funded will help me organize my teaching space in a much better way so I will be able to service my students much better. The timer will help my students with special needs be able to visualize how much time is left in an activity which will help with anxiety and completing work on time. I am super excited to be able to use these materials in my classroom with my students and be able to bring these in to the classrooms that I push into in grades 2-5. My students love the clipboards and the fun color that they bring into the classroom. They are excited to do work and have much more ownership over their work with the clipboards.
Thank you again for your very generous donations!”

Creating Some Special Mathematicians!
Funded Oct 15, 2015Thank you so much for your donations to my classroom and for my students. I am very excited to use these math manipulatives with my students and see how they can help them gain more math concepts and grow as learners. Students in grades 2-4 will all be able to use these items in many different ways in and out of the classroom. The games will help my students work on specific concepts and reinforce skills that are taught in the classroom, while the place value charts will help the students be able to see larger numbers, break them down and complete work around those numbers in the classroom.
Thank you again for donating to my classroom. It is greatly appreciated.”

Googling into Special Education!
Funded Jul 24, 2015Thank you so much for your donations to my classroom and my students. Your donations made it possible for me to receive another device for my students (and myself) to use in and out of the classroom. This device is being used by my students to play math based activities on and to utilize goggle apps for education that we have in the classroom. It also allows me to bring home a laptop that I can use at night to help create more activities and lessons for my students, while being away from the classroom. Thank you for helping me continue to create a STEM enriched classroom where technology is helping my students reach their goals and potential.”

Let's Code with Dot and Dash!
Funded Jul 17, 2015Thank you all for your generous donations to my classroom and to my students. The students are so excited to use these robots and it is so exciting to see the students excel with them. I am very excited to use them for varying things in the classroom including: writing projects (have the robots act out stories that the students write), math activities, coding projects (and Hour of Code day), along with varying different projects. These robots are helping me create a STEM based classroom where students are using problem solving to figure out the world around them. Thank you again for helping me create an exciting learning space for my students!”

Funded Aug 6, 2015Thank you so much for your generous donations to my classroom and my students. Teaching a new grade level and new subjects meant that I needed some new supplies and materials to reach my students on their varying levels. Your donations have helped me be able to reach my students and have helped me be able to organize my teaching space in my classroom so my students are able to use all of the supplies daily and easily. The plastic sleeves have helped my students be able to turn any worksheet into a dry erase activity, which then makes it more hands on. Once again, thank you so much for your donations and for helping me create a safe and exciting learning space for my students!”

Supplying our Dreams...
Funded May 19, 2015Thank you so much for your donations to my classroom and my students. My students were very excited about the supplies and we use them on a daily basis! They are helping the students be much more organized. My students with special needs need extra help with staying organized and extra help with the skills that the materials that have been donated help with. My students are able to now practice these skills on a daily basis because of your generous donations. Thank you so much for those generous donations and for helping me create an awesome learning space for my students!”

Supplying Some Super Students!
Funded Apr 28, 2015Thank you so much for your donations to my classroom. Your donations helped my students be able to finish their first grade school year with lots of new supplies. These supplies helped my students be able to continue with our behavior chart (through the use of the clothes pins). I was able to create a lot more hands on materials for my students through the use of the laminator sheets and my students were very excited about everything! Tha nk you for your very generous donations towards my classroom and for believing in my students, my teaching and the school.”

Future Forward First Graders!
Funded Mar 4, 2015Thank you so much for your donations to the entire first grade at Patterson Park Public Charter School. Your donations have made it possible for our students to gain some center activities to help enrich our economics unit. Throughout this unit we have been learning about producers and consumers, goods and services and needs and wants. The centers that you helped our classrooms gain, help by giving the students more hands on experience learning about those topics. In order to give our students a real world experience about economics, each class has created marshmallow pops and we sold them to the rest of the students. The money that is raised from this project (so far around $300), is being donated (through this go fund me page: http://www.gofundme.com/nd28mk) to the Heifer International Foundation! Please help us reach our goal of $500!!
Thanks once again from all of the first grade teachers for helping our students gain more resources!”

Funded Feb 6, 2015Thank you so much for your donations. Your generous donations to my classroom have made it so I have been able to throw out some of our broken headphones, and replace them (and more!) with working ones that are easy for my 6 and 7 year Olds to use. My students were so excited when the box arrived and they are taking care of them and being very gentle with them. They have learned how to wrap the cords up so they don't break, and it is amazing to watch them help each other with this task. The extra headphones have made it so my students don't have to share headphones, and always are able to complete independent work on the ipads. Thank you so much for your donations towards my classroom! My students and I greatly appreciate it!”
