Minorities in STEM Opportunities

Thank you for your generous donations, passion, and care in ensuring my project "Minorities in STEM Opportunities" was successfully funded. During this uncertain time of remote learning; it is so difficult to reach my students the way I truly want and need to. My students are so amazing and deserve the world to ensure they have every opportunity to be exposed to STEM learning and opportunities to become ready for society.

There are no words that can express how receiving these materials made me extremely happy. My kids were happy as well when I displayed what I received to assist in the remote learning process.

My students and I have received chart paper which are so important for me to show images while teaching, the science model kits, globes, the ring light are perfect to show demonstrations on camera. My kids have a better understanding when they visualize scientific processes versus reading about it. The "aha" moment kicks in for them to see renewable energy at work through a model on screen.

My goal is to keep their inquisitive flame ignited through this time and forever in science and STEM.

Thank you for your generosity and making sure we (my students and myself as well); flame did not extinguish during remote learning.”
