Bookmercial! Make a Commercial for Your Favorite Book

Having this resource in our library has made for more efficient use of time. With the use of iPad mini students are able to access information, take video, email video and view work on one device. Students have been writing summaries, scripts and storyboards for their Bookmercial just so they could use the iPad mini! Students truly enjoy using technology but adding the portability really fuels students' excitement. With the added features students have increased work productivity and enthusiasm. Thank so much for believing and encouraging our future!”

This classroom project was brought to life by an anonymous donor and 5 other donors.

Our school is a Title I school with approximately 450 students. Our students range from Low to Middle income. The majority of our students are new to this country or have parents that are new the United States. The school was built in 50's and has very little technological resources. As the Media Specialist I want to encourage students to use technology and highlight some the fantastic titles we have available in our Media Center. Most of our students love to read and come to the library at least twice a week. I need these students to share some of their favorite books with school, and in turn encourage other to read.
