  • Bring Our Computer Programming to Life

    Funded Aug 4, 2015

We are extremely appreciative and overjoyed due to your generosity. The printer is a welcomed addition to our classroom and has already helped my students in various ways. We recently printed our essays, were able to revise them, and reprint our final copies. We also used our printer to begin printing our books that will be professionally bound. We have printed research materials and computer programming projects.

We will continue to use the printer throughout the school year. It has opened so many doors, that were previously closed. The use of this printer has helped bring our projects and computer programming to life and has definitely improved the educational experience of my students.

Thanks again. Without you, this would not be possible.”

  • Protection For Our Precious Technology

    Funded Feb 3, 2012

Your generosity and kindness to help my students with the purchase of the protection for our tablet and

camera for our classroom is extremely appreciated. Now the technology that wonderful donors have

provided for us will be protected for generations to come. We use our tablet and camera daily, and

the protective covers, memory sticks, headphones, etc., enhance the learning of my students and their

    overall educational experience.

With all of the budget cuts, without your help, my students would never have this valuable resource.

Thank you again for your help and for contributing to the education of my students.”

We are extremely appreciative and overjoyed due to your generosity. The camera is a welcomed addition to our classroom and has already helped my students in various ways. We recently took pictures at our field trip to the Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum. We will continue to document all of the important events of our school year. We also used our camera to make tableaus of a story in our language arts book. We additionally created math word problems with photographs to depict our stories.

The use of this camera has helped bring our projects and stories to life and has definitely improved the educational experience of my students.

  • Tablet for Language Development

    Funded Jan 12, 2012

Your generosity and kindness to help my students with the purchase of the tablet for our classroom is extremely appreciated. We use the tablet everyday and it has already helped us complete various projects. We just completed biography reports on famous people that have made a difference in our world, which coincides with our language arts unit. Our new tablet helped with the research, and with searching for pictures to realistically create paper mache masks of the people. We also use the tablet to research things needed throughout our day.

With all of the budget cuts, without your help, my students would never have this valuable resource. Now my students have the direct experience of using technology on a daily basis.

Thank you again for your help and for contributing to the education of my students. ”

My students are energetic, eager and motivated to learn, especially when it involves technology. Our school is located in an urban area in Southern California. We are a Title 1 (Socio-Economically Disadvantaged) school, and all of our students participate in the free lunch program. Most of these students do not have access to technology that many other 4th graders do, and this will affect their future. More economically fortunate children their age, have computers and other technology at their fingertips. My students deserve the same opportunity.
