My students range from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. The students are hand chosen to be in my class. This class is the only one of its kind in my state. These students come to me with many issues. My students may be emotionally disturbed, extremely hyperactive, have learning disabilities, or on the autistic spectrum. Many times I have students who live at the Children's Home next to our school. Many of the students from the Children's Home have come from horrible life altering situations. It is my job along with a full time paraprofessional to better those students educational lives. We hope to guide them back to a regular classroom setting. I have much success in my small classroom of 10 students. My job is tough and I have many battle wounds to prove it, but I know I am fighting a good fight.
