Tune Out and Tune In!
Funded Aug 20, 2024It is with tremendous gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to my donors for your kindness and generosity to give towards my Tune In and Tune Out project! These headphones have had such an incredible impact on my students' lives. One of my students told me that they like the new headphones because they actually work and they are able to play fun and educational activities on the iPad. Moments like that, keep me inspired to continue to touch lives, and overjoyed that your donation helped this moment to happen.
With their classroom headphones organized and ready to use, my students come to class everyday ready and eager to learn. Students know where to locate the headphones and can get to work right away. Students show their confidence in their learning when not wasting time trying to find headphones that work. My students are able to get right to work to focusing on the skill rather than thinking about if they will have working headphones.
In closing, the generous support of your donation makes it possible for my students to develop skills needed for school and for life! Thank you again for your donations.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Ryan

Funded Feb 18, 2015Thank you so much for your generous donation. The moment my students walked into the classroom and saw a brand new rug they were so excited and talk about how "awesome" it was. Each morning we have circle time on the rug and it is such a great way to start the day. The children love having a warm and cozy spot to learn and enjoy. Even during choice time the rug area is always full of students building, reading or working on puzzles. It's the place to be. Thank you so much for helping make our classroom a more warm and inviting place to learn.”

Play, Play, Play!!!
Funded Jun 3, 2013This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The puppets that you donated have helped my students every single day, especially my special needs students who have another way to express themselves. We have incorporated them into our daily lessons and to help promote their social emotional skills.
Our school rarely has extra funds, so without your help, my students would never have had these vital resources to help promote their social emotional development.
Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the United States would go without.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Ryan
Open up a New World!
Funded Feb 23, 2013Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your gift is so critical to our school. I choose to work in a school where the need is great, but I can't be a successful teacher without your help. It is so important to have quality equipment to support quality education.
Having the versatility of an iPad makes my planning and instruction so much more streamlined. No more searching for materials to use. Our transitions are smooth and waste no time!
The iPad has also allowed me to connect with students in a new way. I can easily have music, photos, apps and so much more in one location that is easy to access. It is always exciting to see students smile, especially when my non-verbal students use an app that gives them a voice. The joy and excitement I see makes it all worth it.
Most importantly, I was able to download many applications for the iPad that are specific for each of my special needs students. For my student with Cortical visual impairment (CVI) it is a neurological visual disorder, I can now connect with her and literally help her see what is in front of her. We are so grateful for your donations and are excited about the endless possibilities!”

Mrs. Ryan
