Comfortable Reading Space!
Funded Sep 6, 2023The swivel floor chairs and pillows are the BIGGEST hit in the classroom! The day they arrived, my students and I were amazed at how perfect they were. Students flock to sit in them and even adults when they come into the room. The two main areas for reading are now covered with students pretty much anytime of the day.
A few of the items were out of stock, so instead of an additional carpet, I was able to get some bulletin board supplies to help create our class jobs board and some posters to help students through the writing process. For those people who know me as a teacher, writing is one of my favorite subjects to teach, and I love seeing how much students grow! We also were able to get some creative book marks for students to color and use with the many books they will enjoy this year.
My students and I greatly appreciate your contributions to provide a comfortable reading space and a classroom that feels relaxing and welcoming.”

Funded May 10, 2023My students have been loving the variety of lights, incents, and bulletin boards which have created a very calm atmosphere in the classroom. In fact, every teacher who comes in has made a comment about how cozy the classroom is.
The surf desks have been a big hit! Students were able to use them outside while the weather was still nice and continue to use them to get into groups and not just have to work on the floor. This flexibility has given students the opportunity to collaborate more comfortably and break away from a traditional desk.
The bulletin board paper and borders took the bland, off white, and tan walls to having a splash of color that are eye appealing and connects us to nature.
Your support to help get my classroom set up means the world to my students and me. Your generous contribution will continue to impact students for years to come. Thank you!!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Greer
