I am a special education kindergarten teacher at a high poverty elementary school. I have a very diverse population of students in my classroom. Many of my students come from high poverty homes and are not given opportunities to engage in appropriate social behaviors with same age peers. My students need lessons, discussions and hands-on experience to help them develop appropriate social behavior and kick the bully behavior in my classroom.
