  • Learning Phonics Can Be "Phun"

    Funded Apr 17, 2010

Thank you so much for donating to our classroom. Every day public school budgets get smaller and smaller. As a teacher, I strive to maintain a fun, engaging, and challenging learning environment despite those cuts. With the generosity of donors like you, I am able to reach a variety of students from all backgrounds and working at all levels.

The phonics games that your donation helped to purchase will be a great start in my job to create readers. Our class will use these games to reach students in a fun and exciting way and provide them with an extra opportunity to practice what they have been learning. Thank you again for making such a kind contribution to our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. I.

  • The Science of Learning

    Funded Feb 11, 2009

Thank you so much for your generosity. We are so thankful for the materials that your donation helped to provide our classroom. The science kits that you helped fund, will be hours of learning and fun for students each year. Since we are a school of high poverty, we often have to spend most of our time learning the basics. Our students come to us so far behind that we spend most of our day focusing on math, reading and writing. With your help, we will be able to integrate those subjects with science. Not only will our students be enriched, but these kits may spark a love for science.

Thank you again for donating to Donorschoose.org and to our classroom. ”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. I.

  • Little Wishes...BIG Impact

    Funded Jan 26, 2009

Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. We are so grateful that people like you take the time to help classrooms in need. The small wishes you fulfilled touch each and every student in my classroom everyday.

Your donation helped provide the necessities for my classroom. We use the dry erase markers for games, to show work on the class white board, and for each student to show their answers on their own white boards. Since all of our work is completed in pencil, the new sharpeners get a great workout each day!

Thank you again for granting out little wishes and making such a big impact on our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. I.

  • Ready, Set, Read!

    Funded Jan 15, 2008

Thank you so much for helping to fund our classroom. Allowing students to read grade-level text and get ready to start third grade on the right foot will be so valuable for them. Not only will these stories be appropriate for my students, but they will also be interesting and exciting. These books are so appreciated and will be used for years to come”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. I.

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. I.

  • Be An Author!

    Funded Jun 21, 2007

Thank you so much for your kind donation. This writing opportunity will benefit so many students. I can't wait to see their faces when they use our new writer's workshop for the first time. I hope this will be their first step towards a life filled with a love for writing. Thank you again for your generosity”

Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom. We look forward to making our reading group time fun and meaningful. The opportunity for us to have such great materials would not have been possible without donors like you. Your generosity will touch children for years to come. Thank you again for your kind donation”
