Covid has made it harder for families to have the funds and time to shop for needed sewing and food supplies. The supplies that we are asking for will make it possible for students to learn to sew. These supplies will also give students the opportunity to learn the life skill of cooking for themselves and their families. These are skills that last a lifetime! The students learn about measuring food, food safety, kitchen safety, nutrition, clothing, textiles, sewing skills, the parts of a sewing machine, how to run a sewing machine, etc.

About my class
