• Self-Care Products for Teens

  Funded May 6, 2024

  Thank you so much for your continued support of our teens here in the South Bronx. With your help, I was able to give out toothbrushes, toothpastes, hairbrushes, sanitary napkins, and skincare face masks to our middle school and high school students. My students were so thrilled to receive these self-care kits and many of them said that they will keep these in their lockers. They stated that it was so nice to receive free stuff from school that are actually useful for their daily activities. We are truly so thankful for your support.”

• Yoga Materials for High School Students

• Brain Break Materials and Snacks

  Thank you so much for your continued support of teachers like me. I truly appreciate your contribution in making this project possible. My students are always excited to receive snacks during their after school activities. The snacks truly allows them to stay awake and energized after a long day of school.

  The math dictionary and the puzzles are also great to keep them occupied during break times. They continue to be curious and engaged in math content during and after class times.

• It's an Instant Noodles Holiday Party

  Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. We had a successful holiday party with the noodles. It was a warm celebration and they were all so grateful. They were so shocked that we had boxes and boxes of instant noodles, and it was all for them! The teachers who share our classroom also use the kettle on a daily basis.

  My students continue to enjoy the instant noodles for lunch or after school activities. It's been so comforting for them to know that it is accessible whenever they need a warm meal while they are in school.”

• Snacks for Summer School Students

  Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. I am so grateful for your support. My students thoroughly enjoyed the snacks during summer school. They always looked forward to each morning during our break time to get these snacks. They were more receptive to staying on task as days went by. Many of my students come in my classroom and request for these snacks during their break time. It is a great way for them to stay awake and motivated to seize the rest of their school day. I really appreciate you taking the time in reading about my students and providing for their needs. The snacks make it possible for my tutoring to be as inviting as possible. Thank you again!”

  Thank you for your generosity. With your support and kindness my students are so excited to attend after school tutoring. Our after school activity is benefitting many students who are struggling with their classes. They often feel overwhelmed and frustrated. After school tutoring is where they can get small group instruction and help. With your donation, they look forward to having delicious snacks. • Yoga Materials and Healthy Snacks

  Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. My students were so thrilled to receive the yoga materials and snacks. They've expressed their excitement when they saw the large mat. We used it during our assessments and the students really enjoyed being at the center to share their own yoga sequences to the rest of the class. We called it our "stage mat". The knee pads were great support for modifications for some of my students too. The snacks were wonderful addition as a treat especially during our more demanding workout sessions. Because of your generosity, I have more student buy-in when it comes to receiving extra support outside of class time. I have seen students invite their friends as well because they know that our after school space is inviting and they have snacks to munch on.
