• Put Your Heart Into Art in Pre-K!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations to my class project, "Put Your Heart Into Art in Pre-K." The children were so excited when the boxes of various art materials arrived in our classroom. Our students love creating and exploring with different art materials and using them to expand their creativity and create art. Art helps children learn about self-expression and creativity. Art projects are also a good way for children to develop fine motor skills and improve their hand-eye coordination. The children love using the peel and stick shapes and jewels to add to their pictures and collage boards. The children feel a sense of accomplishment and pride in their work when they get to see their artwork displayed in our classroom or when they get to take it home to show their families. Thank you for helping me help my students as they continue to build and expand their creativity, imagination and fine motor skills.”

• “Let’S Get on the ‘WRITE’ Track in Pre-K!”

  Thank you so much for your generous donations to my class project, "Let's Get On The 'WRITE' Track In Pre-K!" The children were so excited when the boxes of new materials arrived with the soft alphabet blocks, the pretend and play mailbox and the pre-writing magnetic board. The children love exploring with letters and seeing pictures of different things that start with each letter. They love stacking the blocks to build and using the blocks to spell their name or their friends names. The children are having so much fun writing "letters" to their friends and mailing the letters. Finally, the pre-writing magnetic board assists my little learners who are still struggling with the motions of writing. It gives them the opportunity to strengthen the fine motor skills they need to write! These new additions to our Pre-K Writing Center have made this center a center that each student wants to visit and explore in. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!”

• Don't Block Out Learning in the Pre-K Block Center!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations to my class project, "Don't Block Out Learning In The Pre-K Block Center." The children were so excited when the box of blocks came. Everyone wanted to visit the block center to build with our wooden blocks. The children built bridges, roads, buildings, houses, zoos, castles, and so much more! These new additions to our block center are helping my students as they develop motor skills and learn about basic concepts of architecture and engineering. It also gives the children the opportunity to learn to work with others and gives them opportunities to practice language development as they describe what they are building, and math skills as they explore with different shapes and counting how many blocks were needed to make their creation. So much learning is taking place and it is all because of you and your generous donations. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!”

  Thank you so much for donating to my class project, "Do Your Part, Help Us Learn During Center Time Art." My Pre-K students were so excited when the box was delivered to our classroom and even more excited to see what was inside. Everyone wanted to visit the art center during center time! The children thoroughly enjoyed using the different collage materials to decorate their collage boards. These materials give my little learners the opportunity to build their fine motor muscles, self esteem, independence and creativity. The students screamed with excitement when they saw the boxes delivered to our classroom. The sensory fidget tubes were a big hit as the students were mesmerized by this sensory experience. The children also love identifying the letters they know as they use their fine motor muscles to peel and stick the letters onto their paper. Thank you for giving my students the opportunity to grow, learn and develop through hands on experiences and exploration in Pre-K.”

• Discovering Science In Class Pre-K 223!

  Thank you for your generous donations to my class project, "Discovering Science In Class Pre-K 223!" Because of your generous donations, my students now have photo books consisting of photographs taken up close of different animals. The children are so excited to look at each animal, name the animal and use their words to share the visual characteristics of each animal. The children LOVE seeing their world in different colors with the color paddle sets. Also, the children are so excited to explore with the "My First Microscope." Our science center sure has come to life! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for giving my little learners this experience.”

• Tune In to Some Great Learning in Pre-K!

  Thank you for your generous donations to my class project, "Tune In To Some Great Learning In Pre-K!" Because of your generous donations, my little learners now have different instruments from around the world, such as: a Chinese gong, Peruvian Gourd maracas, Ghanian Woven Rattles, an Asian Frog Rasp, and a Mexican Guiro. The children will be so excited to explore with these new materials and explore their sense of sound to see how the sound each instrument makes is similar and different. They will learn vocabulary such as pitch, tune, high, low, loud and soft. I can't wait to hear them interact with their peers and create a band, using all of these different multicultural instruments.
