It is because of your generous donations that my students now have a hardwood hutch/cabinet as part of our pre-K dramatic play center. The children are going to have so much fun as they take on the role of a family and pretend play what goes on in a home in their new role of Mommy, daddy, brother, or sister. It is because of your generous donations that my students now have an comfortable rug to sit on when taking part in our morning meeting, story time, or when building in the block center. This rug has capital and lowercase letters, pictures to match each letter of the alphabet, numbers, and shapes. What a great way to stay cozy while learning and listening to stories in our meeting area all while constantly being made aware of letters, numbers, and shapes. I can't wait to see their imaginations go wild as they take on the role of a doctor, police officer, fire fighter, astronaut, construction worker, veterinarian, and so many more careers. What a fun way to learn about community helpers, different jobs, or while building their imagination, vocabulary, and awareness of community. The children were so excited to see the cardboard blocks and hollow blocks being delivered to our classroom. What a wonderful addition these blocks will make when creating buildings, exploring shapes, and other math skills such as measuring, counting, and much more. These blocks will also aid in developing language and vocabulary as the children learn to use their words to describe what they are building. They are a big hit in our math center. These new additions will be placed in the writing center and will be used to form letters of the alphabet. My students were so excited to see the kitchen set and the pots and pans set delivered to our classroom. This resource will be used so my class can pretend play the roles of family members in a household. These resources will be used for imaginative play and building language and math skills. With these materials, the children will also learn how to take turns and share. Thank you for this opportunity. My students love these new materials and I love seeing them so excited to learn through play and exploration.”

It is because of your generous donations that we now have clear contact paper to use for stained glass art crafts and for covering up student work so that it can remain damage free and preserved while we hang it up or send it home to be enjoyed by their parents. Young children love seeing their work displayed and viewed as important. Being able to preserve their work will give us the opportunity to hang it in our classroom, without damaging their work. It is because of your generous donation at my class will have multicultural dress up clothes in our dramatic play center. The children will now have an opportunity to see, firsthand, how different cultures wear different types of clothing. They can use their words to describe the similarities and differences between the clothes. Learning about different cultures will help my students develop a deep respect for the many different cultures and an appreciation for differences.
