My students live in the inner city. The majority of the population is at poverty level, their surroundings are littered with graffiti,factories and liquor stores.They lack services that would enhance their education. But even with all the negativity that surrounds them they are eager to learn. In spite of all the wrongs the neighborhood offers, my students are a lively and inquisitive bunch. They fill my classroom with eagerness to learn and push the envelope to find answers to questions that would perplex the average adult.

About my class
