I teach in a low-income school district. I have several English Second Language Students (ESL). All of my students are willing to learn and do anything that they are asked to do. They have such great ambition to learn. Last year, my students showed over a year and a half of growth in their reading scores. I have a few students in my classroom that are reading at a 4th-grade level. Giving students the opportunity to learn through many different modes of delivery from computers, Smartboard, audio, and now with the use of apps with an I pad, my students will show much more success in their reading and communication skills.
