• Art Meets Science

  Thank you so much for sponsoring my project, Art meets Science. These art materials were very useful when we did our artistic outputs. Some students are more open to expressing their learning through art. During the few times I have made them make an art based on their learning, some of the students hesitated. But with these wonderful materials, all of them wanted to participate and in fact submitted several of their art works that show scientific concepts like the water cycle and the nitrogen cycle. They also illustrated the layers of the earth and the food web and food chain.

• STEM for Next Generation Thinkers

  This project is important, especially for our science fair project. This stem material can help our students decide what to do for their science fair. The materials have inspired our students to do an engineering project. A team of students will do an underwater robot to be submitted for our district science fair, and hopefully it will win and will join in the Alaska State Science and Engineering Fair.

• Treats for Triumph

  Thank you so much for your unending support of our students in rural Alaska.

  As I have requested these treats for my last period class, they were not the only ones who benefited. I have also seen the need for my first period class to get their share. Some of them also come to school late, so they were not able to get here on time to get their breakfast. I have seen the improvement in their behavior and participation in the class once they have a little snack. And I truly believe that students cannot learn effectively with an empty stomach. With that, thank you so much and I wish you more blessings as well.”

• School Supplies and Storage Organizers for the Coming School Year

  Thank you so much for being as supportive as ever. I can't describe how grateful I am for the support you have showered on my students. Now that we have storage for our school supplies, our students know where to get the art materials to work on in our science outputs that are expressed in an artistic way. They know where to find the options to use. Before, they would only use what was being provided and available, but right now, they see the materials that are available for them and where to find them. They have developed creativity and originality and learned to use their initiatives as we made projects and art work.
