  • A year to Remember: My Academic Scrapbook

    Funded Mar 13, 2025

Thank you so much for your unending support.

As their teacher, I will make sure that these instructional materials will be utilized as intended.

My students will be very happy knowing that generous people have their backs and for sure will make them work and dream hard for their future.

Thank you once again! May God bless you a thousand-folds.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. C. LUSARES

  • Art Meets Science

    Funded Dec 4, 2024

Thank you so much for sponsoring my project, Art meets Science. These art materials were very useful when we did our artistic outputs. Some students are more open to expressing their learning through art. During the few times I have made them make an art based on their learning, some of the students hesitated. But with these wonderful materials, all of them wanted to participate and in fact submitted several of their art works that show scientific concepts like the water cycle and the nitrogen cycle. They also illustrated the layers of the earth and the food web and food chain.

Once again, thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. C. LUSARES

  • STEM for Next Generation Thinkers

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

Thank you so much for the support you have given in this project.

This project is important, especially for our science fair project. This stem material can help our students decide what to do for their science fair. The materials have inspired our students to do an engineering project. A team of students will do an underwater robot to be submitted for our district science fair, and hopefully it will win and will join in the Alaska State Science and Engineering Fair.

Once again, thank you so much!”

  • Treats for Triumph

    Funded Nov 10, 2024

Thank you so much for your unending support of our students in rural Alaska.

As I have requested these treats for my last period class, they were not the only ones who benefited. I have also seen the need for my first period class to get their share. Some of them also come to school late, so they were not able to get here on time to get their breakfast. I have seen the improvement in their behavior and participation in the class once they have a little snack. And I truly believe that students cannot learn effectively with an empty stomach. With that, thank you so much and I wish you more blessings as well.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. C. LUSARES

  • School Supplies and Storage Organizers for the Coming School Year

    Funded Nov 10, 2024

Thank you so much for being as supportive as ever. I can't describe how grateful I am for the support you have showered on my students. Now that we have storage for our school supplies, our students know where to get the art materials to work on in our science outputs that are expressed in an artistic way. They know where to find the options to use. Before, they would only use what was being provided and available, but right now, they see the materials that are available for them and where to find them. They have developed creativity and originality and learned to use their initiatives as we made projects and art work.

Once again, thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. C. LUSARES

  • Treasure Box of Memories

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

The impact of this project goes far beyond simply printing photos; it's about creating a profound collection of memories and fostering a sense of belonging and engagement within the school community. In a remote area of Alaska, where access to specialty shops and resources is limited, this initiative fills a crucial gap by allowing students to preserve their classroom experiences and school activities through tangible photographs.

By documenting moments of laughter and significance, this project immortalizes memories and strengthens the bond between students and their school. As the central gathering place in the community, the school plays a pivotal role in students' lives, and the ability to capture these moments holds immense significance, creating a sense of pride and ownership in their educational journey.

Moreover, beyond the sentimental value, this project enhances the educational experience for students. By actively involving them in capturing and preserving memories, it fosters a genuine fondness for school and encourages participation in classroom and school-wide activities. This nurturing environment, characterized by inclusivity and support, cultivates a sense of care and belonging among students, making learning more enjoyable and meaningful.

Ultimately, this project contributes to the student's overall well-being and academic success by recognizing the importance of preserving memories and actively engaging students. It communicates a deep appreciation for their contributions and milestones, creating an environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to thrive academically and personally.”

  • Hands-on Science Makes Learning Fun!

    Funded Aug 1, 2023

I am writing to express our heartfelt gratitude for the generous donation of the protein synthesis kit and other manipulatives for our school. Your support has played a pivotal role in enhancing the learning experience of our students, and I am thrilled to share with you the significant impact your donation has had on our classroom.

The arrival of the protein synthesis kit and manipulatives brought an air of excitement and curiosity among our students. Their faces lit up with enthusiasm as they engaged in hands-on activities, exploring the intricate processes of protein synthesis. Your donation did not just provide materials; it concretized the learning experience for our students, making abstract concepts tangible and comprehensible.

Through these manipulatives, our students were able to visualize and understand the complexities of molecular biology. The kit allowed them to experiment, ask questions, and collaborate with their peers, fostering a deep sense of curiosity and passion for science. Students who were once hesitant to participate in class discussions became active participants, confident in their understanding of the subject matter. The hands-on approach facilitated by your donation not only improved their academic knowledge but also honed their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The impact of your generosity extended beyond the classroom, influencing our teachers as well. They have incorporated these materials into their lesson plans, making learning more interactive and engaging for every student. Your contribution has empowered our educators to create a dynamic learning environment where students are motivated to explore, question, and learn.

Once again, thank you for your thoughtful donation and unwavering support for our school community. Your belief in the power of education has made a lasting difference in the lives of our students, shaping them into confident and inquisitive learners.

We are sincerely grateful for your generosity, and we look forward to keeping you updated on the progress and achievements of our students, made possible through your kind contribution. Your support has opened new avenues of learning for our students, and for that, we are truly grateful.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. C. LUSARES
