My chemistry classes range from sophomore to junior students excited to get hands-on experience in the science classroom! ~~ Having graduated from this high school, I understand the needs of my students as our school is designated a Title-I school. ~~ Through inquiry-based lab experiences, students will be able to realize their true potential in the science classroom as well as foster confidence, necessary to encourage them to follow science-related college and career pathways. ~~ The 21st century demands students to be able to perform higher-level tasks and genuine and adequate lab experiences can push students to critically think. ~~ I hope to give the students memorable lab experiences that will develop a joy for science, just as my chemistry teacher made a positive impact in my life. ~~ Thank you for your consideration in helping these amazing students out! ~~ Mr. Chen Rodriguez
