My students attend a school in CA that is in the forefront of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Their school is young, but advanced. The students of this school all demand the best educators to learn from, take the most AP type classes they can each year to guarantee a better opportunity of being accepted into the college of their choice. They are growing up in a world where technology is everywhere. They expect their teachers to be shoulder to shoulder with them and use this technology to better educate and prepare them for life after high school. These students have a tremendous amount of pressure on themselves to succeed, wonderful personalities, strong work ethics, intrinsic motivation, hunger for knowledge - not the grade, and demanding thirst to enter college. These students are also well-rounded individuals. 80%+ belong to multiple clubs, play 2 sports, are involved in band, drama, and especially leadership. Our students want to do everything they can.
