Robots, Art, and Regulation Tools
Funded Jul 12, 2022We are taking careful time teaching interpersonal skills. We do this with games, modeling, and guiding speech. Giving students time to play with technology support their resilience, empathy, and kindness.
Students are natural creators. When students can create, they can turn their ideas into projects and tangible items that support pride and contiguous exploration. Students are inventors and explorers. Being exposed to robots and coding will help students reach their potential.
Through your support students can find joy at school. Your donation went a long way to keep students smiling and happy. Thank you for helping out students reach their potential!”

Funded Apr 28, 2022Our students adore their new seating. Students cheered and ran to their new seating when it came in. They have never had such fancy furniture! I've notice more students wanting to quietly read in our new section. In fact, we made the area a silently reading area, thus furthering encouraging reading!
Students have been taking care of our new furniture. They care about their things and it important that their library looks nice. Donors like you help our space grow to an area where students are happy, safe, secure, and feel a deep sense of belonging. Our students deserve nice things. Thank you for supporting our students and their reading!”

Funded Apr 28, 2022Students come to our library with hope and aspirations. Students can leave with beautiful art of their creation thanks to you. The library is a fun and exciting place where students feel welcomed. This is largely to do with their voices being heard. Students wanted to make jewelry, your generous gift will give that to them.
The joy I've witnessed with students creating this year has gone above and beyond what I've experienced in the past. This is largely due to art projects during Library Class with materials students can take home. It will surprise no one that I do not have a "bead" or "sticker" budget. It is through Donors Choose that our awesome students get to choose art. Students are creating with pride so here is my new ask. Simply, let's give students beads, stickers, and fun games to bring as much as joy as possible to schools (and school libraries). Everyone deserves to feel proud, everyone deserves to create. Also, note that creating and wearing jewelry creating does not fall under old fashion gender roles, it transcends what we once believed to be true and that is also amazing.
Thank you so much for giving! Let's keep it up and allow or students to have the very best! They deserve it!”

Funded Apr 28, 2022Wow! We did it! Thank you so much! Now students will have materials to help them learn and grow creatively! I told some of our incredible students the materials they will receive and they cheered. Please know that you help make someone's day!
Students loved the knitting tools! They took them to their classroom and some even taught their younger siblings. Your support means the world.
Public schools do not succeed in a vacuum; it is through the generosity of the public that we can offer our students opportunities to challenge, validate, and strengthen their young minds. There is simply nothing kinder than voluntarily giving, especially when it is for the hearts and minds of our present scholars and future community members. Your generosity means the world to me and my students."”

We need the books on our shelves to truly fully represent our student population. Representation in books empowers and supports students' academic success. Your generosity supported our students' academic and social emotional growth.
Students have more opportunities to see themselves the books they read and the activities they engage in. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much.”
