Every student at BCHS is here because they've made the choice to try again. For whatever reason, traditional high school didn't work out, and the student is now giving public education a 2nd chance to prepare them for the future. Our classroom features three pods of up to six students. It facilitates a lot of organic discussions that are student initiated and led. Behind the camera we have alternate seating including a small couch, rug, and single student desk. Students maintain a hot beverage station available to all community members with cocoa, coffee, and tea. To the left out of frame we keep snacks and hygiene items. Students have unlimited access to essentials like deodorant, toothbrush, or soap. The last thing you should know, is that they're a bunch of growing teens and eat snacks faster than they can be replenished. Your contribution helps me continue to offer one snack, per person, per day. Thank you.
