I love these little people... ~ Charles Dickens.
After nearly 15 years of teaching, I am teaching 2nd Grade for the first time and it's a joy!
My students are still at the stage where everything is new to them and they are excited to learn. They are inquisitive and motivated by the new things they take in daily. Many have already commented about how much they are enjoying school because of being in my class.
They know we are a family in our classroom, which lends to them taking an active role in helping and encouraging each other.
Because we are a Title 1 School, we face many resource challenges and budget cuts. My kids don't know that we don't have enough books or financial resources to put them on par with other schools. Nonetheless, my kids are an example of what can be accomplished with so little.
They are happy, eager learners who appreciate even the littlest of things that are done for or provided to them. They will be thrilled to receive such great tools for our class.
