Hello! I am a teacher in Ventura, California. I work as a third grade teacher at a Title One school. At my school we have a high percentage of English language learners as well as students from low income families. I am new to third grade this year, and so far I am loving it! I used to teach first grade, so I am gathering things to build my classroom. Many of my students come from homes where they do not see their parents all day. Many of my students are taken care of by older siblings or they are taking care of younger siblings. My students are enthusiastic learners and enjoy being in the classroom. I look forward to bringing more joy to my classroom by keeping learning fun and engaging for all of my students.
