Sensory Play!
Funded Mar 29, 2022This is just a small token of our gratitude for your very generous contribution to our Early Intervention program. The materials we've received have helped us create a better understanding of emotions in our classroom. Our students show excitement and enthusiasm when using the new materials, they are using learned language to interact with peers, practicing newly taught social exchanges when cooperating with peers, and demonstrating improved cognitive skills by sequencing their actions. The children are observed to demonstrate a deeper understanding of the friendships while they are sharing materials and working on important developmental skills that will help them improve their quality of life now, and into adulthood.
Our school is currently facing a budget shortage, so without your help, my students would not have been able to benefit from this vital therapy. Social skills that has a direct impact on brain development for children in early intervention.
Thank you SOOOO much for donating to this project, from the bottom of our hearts, you are truly appreciated.”

Funded Aug 31, 2021This is just a small token of our gratitude for your very generous contribution to our Preschool for All Learners program. The materials we've received have helped us to create inviting Outdoor Play areas for our 30 PALs students. Our students show excitement and enthusiasm daily when playing with peers, they are using appropriate language to interact with one another, practicing newly taught social exchanges (turn taking, asking for a turn, sharing, waiting their turn, etc.) when cooperating with peers, and demonstrating improved social interaction skills, social skills that will help them improve their quality of life now, and into adulthood.
Upon receiving the materials the students' faces lit up. My class helped me to open each package with excitement, like it was their birthday, and immediately set to explore the different materials asking questions. After opening all of the packages and putting them together, we set them up into different outdoor learning stations and the students were engaged, for over an 45 minutes, moving from station to station introducing a few new items a week.
The materials helped us to improve our outdoor learning time by providing more opportunities for young friends to interact, experience new toys as well as skills (physical, social, communicative, etc.) and become better communicators and cooperative tiny humans.

Funded Aug 11, 2020This is just a small token of our gratitude for your very generous contribution to our PALs program. The materials we've received have helped my students to be creative with the materials they have received in their backpacks from scissors to learning the alphabet with their alphabet cards. My students showed excitement and enthusiasm when picking up their "BackPacks" filled with various materials to help and engage them during this difficult time of COVID. Distance learning has been difficult especially for those that do not have the resources they need. You helped with purchasing some of those resources for my students to succeed during this time when school is so different as well as for parents who need the extra help with teaching their children at home.

Funded Aug 12, 2020This is just a small token of our gratitude for your very generous contribution to our Preschool for All Learners program. The materials we've received have helped me to send materials home during this difficult time of COVID. My students showed great excitement and enthusiasm daily when picking up their art materials from school during the closure. I am able to engage them with the materials and for those that can't join me during Distance Learning I can refer them to get their art supplies and create something to send me through ClassDojo. Having these materials also help with families who are unable to go out and grab arts and crafts materials to engage their children at home.
The materials helped us to improve our Distance learning experience by providing more opportunities for young friends to interact with their families and classmates via Zoom by sharing what they have made using the materials they have received as well as become better communicators and cooperative tiny humans during this difficult time. Their attention span has improved upon receiving and using these items.

Funded May 7, 2019Upon receiving the materials the students' faces lit up with excitement and joy. They helped me to open each package, like it was a Birthday Party, and immediately set to explore the different toys and ask questions about the boxes and made comments like "Aw this is cool" and my nonverbal students clapping and smiling. After receiving the all of the packages, we set them up into different learning stations in the classroom and the students were engaged, for over an hour, moving from station to station to explore all the new items we received. These materials have helped out students learn to share, take turns and socialize with their peers.
The materials really helped the PALs teachers to improve our curriculum by providing hands on opportunities for young minds to experiment and problem solve using all of their senses (multiple modalities) for maximum acquisition of skills.
Thank you SOOOOOO much from the bottom of our hearts. You have impacted almost 50 students with your donations.”
