  • Trikes for Littles!

    Funded May 8, 2024

This is just a small token of our gratitude for your very generous contribution to our Preschool for All Learners program. The materials we've received have helped us to create inviting Outdoor Play areas for our 20 PALs students. Our students show excitement and enthusiasm daily when playing with peers, they are using appropriate language to interact with one another, practicing newly taught social exchanges (turn taking, asking for a turn, sharing, waiting their turn, etc.) when cooperating with peers, and demonstrating improved social interaction skills, social skills that will help them improve their quality of life now, and into adulthood.

Upon receiving the materials the students' faces lit up. My class helped me to open each package with excitement, like it was their birthday.

The materials helped us to improve our outdoor learning time by providing more opportunities for young friends to interact, experience new toys as well as skills (physical, social, communicative, etc.) and become better communicators and cooperative tiny humans.

Thank you SOOOO much for donating to this project, from the bottom of our hearts, you are truly appreciated.

With much gratitude from all PALs class.”

    Funded Dec 19, 2024

This is just a small token of our gratitude for your very generous contribution to our Early Intervention program. The materials we've received have helped us create an inviting areas in our classroom. Our students show excitement and enthusiasm when using the new materials, they are using learned language to interact with peers, practicing newly taught social exchanges when cooperating with peers, and demonstrating improved cognitive skills by sequencing their actions. The children are observed to demonstrate a deeper understanding of the friendships while they are "building" and working on important developmental skills that will help them improve their quality of life now, and into adulthood such as social emotional, critical thinking and self awareness.

Our school is currently facing a budget shortage, so without your help, my students would not have been able to benefit from your generosity. Dramatic play with building blocks, has a direct impact on brain development for children in early intervention.

Thank you SOOOO much for donating to this project, from the bottom of our hearts, you are truly appreciated.”

  • Calming Area

    Funded Jan 4, 2023

Thank you so much for your donation, upon receiving these materials my students were excited to explore our new calming area and books. They were excited to sit in the library and hold our new weighted Clifford doll. It helped for my students that have joined my class recently and have need a calming space to sit and relax and take it all in that they are in school. Having children with special needs have an area they feel safe and know where they can sit and think or relax has helped greatly. My students love their new space in the classroom. Thanks again.”

Our Early Intervention students are wonderful 3-5 year old children of varying ability levels. Our program is located on a regular elementary school campus, and serves preschool children with IEPs. Although our students are qualified under categories such as : autism; orthopedic impairments; established medical disorder; and speech and language impairments- they are like all children EVERYWHERE, in that they love to "play" and have fun. As Early Intervention teachers, we capitalize on this, and set up ways to use play to facilitate learning.
