Motivational Mail!
Funded Oct 14, 2022Thank you so much for your support with this very special project. I have sent out two rounds of Happy Mail so far and the response has been so positive. The kids have loved receiving encouraging mail and continue to ask me when I am going to send my next letter. Some of them are even practicing their writing skills and sending me my very own Happy Mail in return. This project wouldn't have been possible without your support and I look forward to sending many more letters in the very near future.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Panda Cares. The Sound of Virtual Learning
Funded Nov 13, 2021Thank you so much for funding this project. This device has allowed me to bring so much fun and excitement to the classroom as well as increase productivity. In the classroom, I have pre-loaded sound effects that I can use during live class time to increase engagement. When we tell jokes we play the laughing sound effect, when we celebrate we play the cheering effect, and when I ask a question and no one responds, I play the cricket sound effect. The kids love waiting to hear what sound will come next! The productivity of my day has increased as well. I am able to use the stream deck to open all of my pages and programs with one click. I can also use the stream deck to preload the answers to frequently asked questions, and have them pop into the chatbox by clicking one button.
This device has greatly improved my digital classroom. Thank you again!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Center for Disaster Philanthropy and one other donor.Stack, Tweeze,& Roll! Morning Tubs
Funded Sep 17, 2018thank you so much for donating to this project. The kids love working in their morning tubs. They are practicing important skills using hand and eye coordination. All thanks to your support. Thank you again! The kids have been extremely focused on their fine motor skills without realizing it. They beg to do these tubs anytime we get a few extra minutes. I was able to create 15 tubs with the existing grant and I hope to expand it to another 15 in the coming year. We couldn't have done it without you. Thanks again!”

Lights, Letters, Learning!
Funded Aug 1, 2018Thank you so much for all of your support with my classroom project. The kids have really enjoyed using the sensory tubs for morning literacy centers. So far they have been working on Uppercase and lowercase letter matching as well as beginning sounds. To get us started, I colored rice and added it to the table. Then I made phonics cards and a recording sheet that they use to record their data. This keeps the students accountable for the work but allows them to have fun while doing it. Next week we will be introducing the light table to the center. I know they will have just as much fun with the second half of my project. Thanks again for all of your support.”
